Kesha Sues Her Producer Dr. Luke For Physical, Sexual And Emotional Abuse (UPDATE: He Denies It All)

Seen above clutching a cat who’s doing an impersonation of you after reading this dark-sided shit, the artist formerly known as Ke$ha wants out of her contract with her longtime collaborator Dr. Luke because she alleges that he’s a monster who abused her in several ways for years.

When Kesha checked into rehab for an eating disorder, her mom Pebe Sebert straight-up told People that Dr. Luke constantly got on her about her weight and his comment about her “looking like a fat fucking refrigerator” played a big part in triggering her bulimia. Well, in a lawsuit filed in L.A., Kesha claims that Dr. Luke wasn’t only verbally abusive. Dr. Luke should change his name to Dr. EVIL, because he allegedly mentally tortured her and physically abused her so bad that she almost died.

Dr. Luke, who has worked with Katy Perry, Pink and Avril Lavigne, signed Kesha when she was 18. In the lawsuit, Kesha claims the abuse started almost from the moment she signed her name on that contract. She alleges that over the course of 10 years, Dr. Luke drugged her, forced the bad shit and booze on her, verbally slapped her down, physically attacked her and sexually assaulted her. Kesha gives several examples of Dr. Luke’s alleged terror on her including one time when he gave her “sober pills” and she woke up naked, sore and sick in his bed and had no idea how she got there. She also claims that she had to hide in the mountains near her house in Malibu once after Dr. Luke went crazy on her and “violently thrashed his arms at her.”

Kesha says that all of that abuse led to her eating disorder. She wants out of her contract with Dr. Luke. Her lawyer Mark Geragos gave this statement to TMZ:

“This lawsuit is a wholehearted effort by Kesha to regain control of her music career and her personal freedom after suffering for ten years as a victim of mental manipulation, emotional abuse and an instance of sexual assault at the hands of Dr. Luke.”

Dr. Luke hasn’t said anything about this yet. Dr. Luke denied calling Kesha a “fat fucking refrigerator” so I’m sure he’ll deny all of this too.

I bet Dr. Luke isn’t even a real doctor! There’s something Ike Turner-esque about this whole story. The lesson to be learned here is to never ever trust someone who calls any kind of pills “sober pills.” That’s some creepy “here child, try these weird-tasting Tic Tacs” shit.

UPDATE: As expected, Dr. Luke says that Kesha is spilling out lies. Dr. Luke is countersuing Kesha for allegedly trying to blackmail him into releasing her from their contract. Dr.Luke claims that months ago, Kesha gave him a copy of the abuse lawsuit and threatened to file it unless he freed her. Dr. Luke’s lawyer Christine Lepera tells TMZ that Kesha, her mom and her new managers made up the lies together. Christine Lepera also said that Kesha and her mom have admitted to lying about the abuse. She didn’t say if she has proof of that or not.
