The Overstock.com Red Room from last night’s grand finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6! 

There are no spoilers in this post, but I really should put all the spoilers in here in and BOLD THEM KANYE-STYLE CAPS for those of you who have fucked up priorities and didn’t watch last night (I’m talking to you, Allison). Okay, maybe just one spoiler. Shangela dropped from the ceiling and was crowned the season 6 queen!

All through season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race (or as I call it when I watch that shit, Why The Fuck Doesn’t LOGO Get Their Shit Together And Show It In HD Because Mess Looks Like It Was Shot On A Potato Dipped In Vaseline And Uploaded To The Beta Version Of Dailymotion In 2005), I missed the Interior Illusions Lounge. Shit just didn’t feel right with Ru not telling the queens to relax with an Absolut cocktail in the Interior Illusions Lounge. But they made up for it last night with the exclusive and glamorous Overstock.com Red Room!

The Overstock.com Red Room didn’t even look like a room. It looked like a corner in the theater where they taped a red tablecloth to the wall, threw in some random red furniture and made an intern print out the Overstock logo and put it in a gold frame they got at Home Goods that afternoon (they didn’t even get it at Overstock). It would’ve been hotter if the queens threw shade while lounging in the SkyMall Hideaway and enjoying a Boones Farm aperitif served in glasses provided by Oriental Trading Company, but the Overstock.com Red Room still hugged my soul the right way.
