The Catzilla from the commercial for Japanese gum brand LOTTE! (I was going to write “Pussyzilla,” but I think Michelle Duggar’s can’t-stop-won’t-stop vagine owns the trademark to that phrase)
American commercials are weird (that untrusworthy and nosy Lunesta Moth still flies through the dark parts of my nightmares every now and again), but the Japanese are always reminding us that they REALLY know how to scratch the WTF part of everyone’s brain. Many commuters stand on the train platform hoping that a pussy will pick them up and take them on a wild ride, but in this commercial an actual cat picks up a business dude and takes him to work. When I asked myself “What does a Catzilla have to do with gum?” I didn’t have any answers. But when I asked myself “What DOESN’T a Catzilla have to do with gum?” I had all the answers. Yes, the Japanese part of my brain is the one that answered that second question.
