A&E Suspends Phil From Duck Dynasty For All That Anti-Gay Shit He Said

December 18, 2013 / Posted by:

A&E Networks issued a statement today saying that they have pulled Phil Robertson from filming for the next season of Duck Dynasty after he shat up some fucked-up shit about how dudes doing dudes is about as sinful as people doing animal, man anus is bringing down civilization and blacks in Louisiana were perfectly happy before the civil rights movement. I thought A&E would be too busy jacking themselves off with all the money they make from Duck Dynasty to care, but I guess they do. They’re shocked (SHOCKED, I tell you) that Phil would actually say those things. They put Phil Robertson on hiatus indefinitely:

“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty. His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community.”

If you were on Twitter or Facebook when A&E let out this announcement, then you might’ve seen the Team Anti-Man Anus hos screaming about how A&E will crumble to the ground without their support and that they’re violating Phil’s First Amendment rights. That’s kind of funny, because I’m pretty sure a lot of those people were saying the exact opposite when Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks said that shit about Bush. But whatever, this news kind of made me sad. No, I don’t watch Duck Dynasty, but I really wanted to watch the episode where the gay ducks gather together and rise against Phil’s ass.
