Having a butchered version of her last name on her drivers license has caused her all sorts of problems from having trouble boarding a plane to getting questioned by cops. The county told Janice to use her maiden name or shorten her last name, but she didn’t want to do that since her last name is what bonds her to her husband who passed away.

After KHON2 helped a ho out, the Department of Transportation changed the policy. They will allow 40 characters for the first name, 40 for the last and 35 for the middle name. That shit still isn’t good enough if you ask me. They should change it to unlimited characters. Because if María del Rosario Cayetana Paloma Alfonsa Victoria Eugenia Fernanda Teresa Francisca de Paula Lourdes Antonia Josefa Fausta Rita Castor Dorotea Santa Esperanza Fitz-James Stuart, Silva, Falcó y Gurtubay (aka the Duchess of Alba) moved to Hawaii, her full name would still bust through the limit.

And Kanoe Gibson is the HSOTD in this story, because while she was covering it, she flawlessly pronounced Janice Keihanaikukauakahihuliheekahaunaele’s last name without a pause, hiccup or burp.

Kanoe Gibson said Janice Keniahakunamatatamekalekahicalafragalistic’s name so perfectly that when she said it, she summoned Jambi and she cast a rain storm spell.
