Hot Slut Of The Day!

Mr. Yuk, the symbol of gross that warned children of the 70s and beyond of poisonous crap.

Children drinking window cleaner and Drano was really big in the 70s and 80s (Side note: Us children of the 80s still drink window cleaner, but we drink it with vodka or gin now the way it’s MEANT to be drunk.), so Dr. Richard Moriarty, a professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, gave birth to Mr. Yuk. The Mr. Yuk stickers were slapped onto poisonous cleaning shit that kids might want to guzzle down. At first, the stickers were only used in the Pittsburgh area, but then other parts of the country started to use them and Mr. Yuk became a star!

The PSA starring Mr. Yuk is like a bad acid trip and Francesca, who sent Mr. Yuk in, put it like this, “If you were a kid in the 70s, you got scared shitless of drinking anything from under the sink (because that’s where all the good shit was) from the precursor to Just Say No for poison instead of drugs.”

I didn’t know of Mr. Yuk until Francesca emailed me about him, but I want to know where he was in the 80s when dum dum Bobby drank some cleaning shit under the sink on that very special episode of Punky Brewester?

Mr. Yuk needs to make a huge comeback and now he can be used to warn adults of nasty shit too. There’s a few peens and poons out there that should have the Mr. Yuk sticker on them.
