The impala who pulled a hot “bye bitch!” move when it jumped into a tourist’s SUV while being chased down by two cheetahs.
The Telegraph says that a bunch of tourists, including the South African girls who shot this video, were driving through Kruger National Park in South Africa when they got caught in the middle of a cheetah vs. impala chase. As the cheetahs were coming after the impalas’ asses to eat them, one impala escaped out of that bitch by jumping into the open window of one of the tourists’ Toyota Prado (I know, if only it was a Chevy Impala). If that impala could speak human words, it would’ve shouted, “Drive, motherfuckers! Drive!” Samantha Pittendrigh, who filmed it, told the Telegraph:
“We started freaking out going crazy. We couldn’t believe it – we were absolutely dumbstruck. We watched the cheetah chasing the impala. We saw a few of them turn around in the bushes towards the road they were running from. All of a sudden we saw the impala jump out of the bushes and then someone started screaming ‘it is in the car, it is in the car’. People in other cars screamed ‘open the door, open the door’.
My family are so jealous. In all the years my parents have been going to Kruger Park they have never seen anything like it and we do go regularly.”
I guess everyone in that Prado follows the “gas, ass or grass” rule, because a quick second later they opened the door and out walked the impala. The Telegraph says that the impala walked to freedom as the cheetahs gave up the chase.
I’ve seen every Planet Earth, which pretty much makes me a wildlife expert (not at all), so I know that it’s not a really good thing when an animal gets separated from his hos. But maybe after the video ended, the impala went back to that Prado, grabbed at the dude hanging out of the window and told the cheetahs to take that ho instead.
And jumping through the window of a Toyota Prado is HOW you make an exit.
