Zach Braff And Gabrielle Union Will Star In A Remake Of “Cheaper By The Dozen” For Disney Plus

January 29, 2021 / Posted by:

For a company that prides itself on “Imagineering,” whatever the fuck that means, Disney sure seems to lack good old-fashioned imagination. According to Deadline, Disney+ is working on a “reimagining” of Cheaper by the Dozen, that old Steve Martin movie, which was already a remake of the 1950 film of the same name, which was an adaptation of a 1948 book of the same name. There’s a reason “reimagining” isn’t a real word, just saying. And they are really straining the bounds of credulity by casting Zach Braff and Gabrielle Union as the mom and pop of a “multiracial, blended family.” Look, I’ll buy a 1’ tall genocidal 50-year-old infant that can move shit with its mind, but Zach Braff pulling Gabrielle Union and putting a gang of babies up in her? Sirs/ma’ams, you have lost your minds.

Russell Brand Has Opinions On Cardi B And Megan Thee Stallion’s Video For “WAP”

August 16, 2020 / Posted by:

It’s been a minute since I’ve heard the name Russell Brand––and probably for good reason as the comedian, ex-husband of Katy Perry and former sex addict is back…and making a full-blown ass of himself online by, what many are claiming is, mansplaining Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s video for WAP. Not only does Russell compare it to porn, but he even throws in a few mind-melting comparisons to Thatcherism.

Um, A “Who’s The Boss?” Sequel Is In The Works WITHOUT Mona!

August 5, 2020 / Posted by:

We all know that the answer to the question, “Who’s the boss?“, was Mona Robinson and Mona Robinson only. But since Hollywood doesn’t give a minuscule crumb of shit about blatant facts, they are doing a sequel to Who’s The Boss? without Mona Robinson since Mona Robinson (played to glamorous ginger perfection by Katherine Helmond) is now making heaven a more gorgeous place. Deadline says that the Who’s The Boss? sequel will only star Alyssa Milano and Tony Danza. They should go ahead and call the sequel Who Asked For This? since that’s what everybody is going to ask without Mona and regular servings of Angela Bower.

Who Ordered The “Sonic The Hedgehog” Movie Trailer?

April 30, 2019 / Posted by:

Riddle me this: What’s blue and white, has weird people teeth, and should have stayed in the 90’s? WRONG! It’s not Will Smith’s Genie. It’s Sonic The Hedgehog! Although I am sure that not a single, solitary person alive on planet earth asked for it, we’re getting a feature length, live-action movie about a SEGA video game character whose primary character trait is that he’s a fast runner.

“Little Women” Has Been Remade Into A Modern-Day Pinterest Board

June 19, 2018 / Posted by:

It’s the 150th anniversary of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women, and it would appear Hollywood has decided to celebrate by lighting the whole thing on fire. There have been numerous film adaptations of Little Women over the years (I’m Winona-biased, but the best is the 1994 version). But there really hasn’t been a modern re-telling, until now. And after watching the trailer, you’ll be likely to be wishing they’d kept it that way.

Kelly Clarkson Will Probably Be A Judge On The Reboot (Or Whatever We’re Calling It) Of “American Idol”

May 10, 2017 / Posted by:

It’s been a little over a year since Fox dropped American Idol into a storage box and shoved it into a corner in the garage, but several networks decided that it’s time to bring it back because the people demand it! Cut to the scene showing all of the people crying for American Idol’s return:

ABC eventually won the right to bring Idol back and they announced that it will return to TV screens next year (probably March). Ryan Seacrest will most likely be back as host, which is a great thing, since we’ve all been saying that we need to see more of his face. TMZ says that ABC is putting together the panel of judges for American Idol 2.0 and at the top of their list is Idol’s first winner (and one of its most successful) Kelly Clarkson.
