A few months ago, it was rumored that five major cast members were done with Saturday Night Live, and wouldn’t be returning for the show’s upcoming 47th season. Those five cast members included: Pete Davidson, Cecily Strong, Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, and Kenan Thompson wouldn’t be back. All of them had moments in the season 46 finale that kind of made it seem like they were saying goodbye. But the internet gossips were wrong. As it turns out, SNL will be losing Beck Bennett instead. Pete, start lifting weights and guzzling protein shakes – someone needs to pick up the shirtless slack left vacant by Beck’s absence.
Kim Kardashian Is Going To Host “Saturday Night Live”
Because I guess every famous and famous-ish person in the world is busy on October 9, TMZ says that komedian Kim Kardashian will host that night’s episode of Saturday Night Live, which will feature musical guest Halsey. Kim follows in the Size 11 footsteps of former employer Paris Hilton, who was dragged by critics and then-head writer Tina Fey after hosting in 2005. Kim’s husband Kanye West has appeared as a musical guest seven times, but he’s technically never hosted. Ah, what a shame. Cuz that’s a dude who doesn’t take himself too seriously at all.
Horatio Sanz Has Been Accused Of Grooming And Sexually Assaulting A Minor At A “Saturday Night Live” Cast Party
Well, this is profoundly gross if not terribly shocking. Another male comedian, this time Saturday Night Live alum Horatio Sanz, has been accused of grooming a teenage girl online. A new lawsuit claims that Horatio “allegedly groomed and sexually assaulted an underage superfan at a “Saturday Night Live” party — as cast members looked the other way.” His accuser says that the grooming began in 2000 when she was 15 and Horatio was 31 and that Horatio developed and maintained a sexually explicit relationship with her online. Good thing Horatio was so funny when he broke character that one every time or else he might lose some fans over this. I did look to see how the #HoratioHive was taking the news, but it turns out it doesn’t exist.
Lorne Michaels Wants “Saturday Night Live’s” Current Cast To Stick Around For A Bit
It has been said many times that to know Lorne Michaels is to study Austin Powers’ Dr. Evil character. And I know Lorne Michaels isn’t saying goodbye to Saturday Night Live cast members by unceremoniously firing them into space or dropping them into a tank filled with laser-equipped sharks. The reality is probably more of an emotionless handshake and asking if you need instructions on where to return your NBC security pass. But Lorne doesn’t want to do any of that this year. According to Variety, Lorne is desperate to keep several veteran cast members on for the 47th season, and beyond.

He even won a Primetime Emmy award for it. Unsurprisingly, Donald Trump hated it more than he hates talking to any one of his kids not named Ivanka. Well, The Daily Beast recently published a piece on Donald’s hate of that SNL impression, and they claimed that Donald Trump’s feelings were so hurt, he called up his goon squad and asked what could be done about it. However, according to Donald Trump, he absolutely never did such a thing.
