Ridley Scott Eats Own Hat might be a headline we see tomorrow after all those “apathetic millennials” who skipped The Last Duel turn around and flock to the theaters to see Lady Gaga go full Eyetalian in House of Gucci. According to Mashable, the critics are still torn about the film’s overall quality but everyone agrees that “Lady Gaga’s performance is something to behold,” the collective shade of which is the biggest gain we’ve had in combating global warming to date. That’s camp baby, that’s millennial catnip right there. Unmoisturized Matt Damon not so much. But most importantly, the consensus seems to be that the “outsized performances” in HOG make it, at the very least, “entertaining,” thus buying the Calderone glacier a little more time before it melts completely into the Adriatic sea.

Method actress Lady Gaga‘s next Oscar vehicle, House of Gucci, comes out on November 24 and recently had its UK premiere. A lot of critic-types have already seen it and Variety says that the social media embargo recently lifted on the film, meaning they were free to talk shit about it on Twitter–which people did. And much like the hammed-up accents in the movie, it seems that reactions to the film are all over the place.

(Hint: it’s the one who lets them root through her closet and takes them to fancy red carpet events) According to People, Maddox, 20, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13, all joined Angie on the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of Marvel’s Eternals, and Zahara wore the same Elie Saab gown Angie wore to the 2014 Academy Awards. Do you think Brad Pitt is going to let any of those rugrats touch his precious hat collection?! Not a chance.

While celebs like Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were getting mad support from the world after they came down with COVID-19, there seem to be a lot of other famous people who just had Coronavirus in secret and went on with their lives. This list does not include Gwyneth Paltrow who then started trying to sell you infrared saunas for COVID symptoms–although technically that is the type of shit she does with her life. Now we’ve learned that Queen of Breasts, Salma Hayek, had a case of Coronavirus so bad she literally almost died. I don’t think Gwyneth’s sauna blanket will help with that.
