James Corden Pissed Off Balthazar’s Owner Again and Ricky Gervais Called Out Him Out For Stealing A Joke

November 1, 2022 / Posted by:

If you’re wondering if it’s safe to eat at Balthazar in New York City if you have an asshole allergy, I’d advise you to play it safe and avoid it until such time as owner Keith McNalley can clarify whether or not James Corden is banned from dining there. Keith has posted about James once again, calling his Late Late Show apologycontrived and phony” following yet another newspaper interview proclaiming he had done nothing wrong. You see, asshole allergies, in my experience, are like peanut allergies, which means that even if James isn’t eating at Balthazar at the time of your visit, even the smallest particle of his noxious presence can cause an extreme reaction. In fact, James is such an irritant that other assholes can barely tolerate his ass. Even a Teflon A-hole like Ricky Gervais was brought to his knees and deleted a tweet he posted accusing James of stealing a joke from his 2018 Netflix special Humanity, because he “started to feel sorry for him.” So you’ve got to trust me on this. It’s not worth the risk.

Ricky Gervais Defends The Transphobic Jokes He Made In His Netflix Special

May 25, 2022 / Posted by:

Ricky Gervais is defending the “taboo” (transphobic) jokes he made in his new Netflix special, SuperNature. Just five minutes into the stand-up special, Ricky takes aim at “the new women” (“the ones with beards and cocks”), using preferred pronouns, and trans women raping people in public bathrooms. Near the end of the show, he says that he actually supports trans rights, but “meet me halfway, ladies. Lose the cock.” Obviously the special has received a ton of backlash, which GLAAD describing it as“full of graphic, dangerous, anti-trans rants masquerading as jokes”. But Ricky doesn’t seem to mind. He went on BBC’s The One Show and said he deals in “taboo subjects.” He added that those who are offended by his comedy are mixing up “the subject of a joke with the actual target.” Translation: Ricky’s critics are dumb.

Ricky Gervais Doesn’t Want To Hear Rich People Complaining About Being Stuck Inside

April 15, 2020 / Posted by:

A whole lot of people are isolating indoors and practicing social distancing, in an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19. And depending on how social a person you are, you might be growing a little tired of making dinner-for-one reservations every night at Chez Microwave. Well, celebrities are no different. Some of them are having a really hard time being stuck inside. Not Ricky Gervais though. Ricky isn’t complaining, and he doesn’t want to hear a single boo-hoo from any famous person about this situation.

As Expected, Ricky Gervais Dragged Everyone During His “Final” Golden Globes Monologue

January 6, 2020 / Posted by:

For the fifth and (allegedly) final time, Ricky Gervais returned to host the 77th annual Golden Globe awards. And in case that glass of beer perched on the podium wasn’t a big enough clue, Ricky still doesn’t care! Except on Twitter, where he apparently cares very much. But if we’re specifically talking about his Golden Globes monologue, he clearly did not have a single fuck to give. See his hands? Nothing there, just totally empty. Kind of like some of the celebrity faces in the crowd as Ricky was roasting them up.

Ricky Gervais Is Receiving Criticism For Some Transphobic Tweets

December 22, 2019 / Posted by:

Ricky Gervais is known for his edgy humor and his general demeanor of two fingers aloft if you can’t take a joke, guvna. Like using the n-word for giggles! (So many shrieky giggles.) Ricky Gervais stayed the course this week when he came to the defense of Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling’s support of some transphobic lady who got fired with some transphobic tweets of his own. When in doubt, Ricky doubles down!

Ricky Gervais Will Return To Host The 2020 Golden Globes

November 12, 2019 / Posted by:

The 2019 Academy Awards went hostless this year and shaved a couple minutes off the usual running time of 18 hours, and they ended up pulling some decent ratings. This year, the Emmys also went hostless, but their ratings were toilet-worthy. Going hostless is clearly a risky move that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association doesn’t want to take, especially when everyone is hammered at least 40 minutes before the Cecil B. DeMille award is brought out. So they’ve decided to go with a tried-and-true formula by bringing back Ricky Gervais.
