After Michelle Wolf set the room on fire with her now legendary smoky eye bit at the 2018 White House Correspondents Dinner, the White House Correspondents Association decided to play it safe the next year by inviting historian Ron Chernow to host. It’s not exactly like the Trump White House has kept good relations with Hollywood (save for Scott Baio), but things went even further south earlier this year when Michelle Wolf was the chosen comedian at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. If you were Democrat, Michelle blew your wig off by comparing Sarah Huckabee Sanders to Aunt Lydia onThe Handmaid’s Tale. I know, that wasn’t nice to do to the gentler Aunt Lydia. Republicans, however, added Michelle’s bit to their Fox News primetime scream-a-thon, so the White House Correspondents’ Association has said they’re replacing comedy next year with a lesson from a biographer. The Emmys Was Bursting With Excessive Amounts Of Fabric Last Night
It’s a bit redundant to say so, because aren’t all award shows just an excuse for fashion houses to clean out their local Fabric Barn and send a famous person down the carpet in more material than a 1980s canopy bed set? But the Emmys did see a lot of by-the-yardage last night, like on Jessica Biel, who said yes to a white Ralph & Russo dress. If you think Jessica and Justin Timberlake look like they stopped by the Emmys on their way to appearing on the top of a wedding cake, you’re not the only one.

It’s been well over 24 hours since Michelle Wolf’s set at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday night, and the delicate b-holes of the White House and the media are still sore and they’re still crying about her doing what all comedians do at that shit: roast political types until they’re as burnt and overcooked as Trump’s face (see: Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, Hasan Minhaj, etc..). Michelle, who is the real winner in this mess since her name has been out there for 2 days, shit on the media for creating Trump, but what’s really making some clutch their pearls so hard that their titties are now covered in pearl dust is what she said about Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Oh, Michelle, know your audience! If only you would’ve said, “I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy,” you would’ve become our next president.
Many defended Michelle Wolf including Kathy Griffin, who was there. But many from both sides defended Sarah Huckabee Sanders including journalists like Maggie Haberman of The New York Times, Andrea Mitchell of NBC News, and Mika Brzezinski who could not believe that a WIFE and a MOTHER was attacked in front of everyone like that. Okay, so if Sarah Huckabee Sanders was a childless singleton, Mika would’ve held Michelle’s purse while screaming, “Drag that bitch”?

White House fuckery apologist Sarah Huckabee Sanders must realize that her monotone, dead-eyed defense of her menacing buffoon boss’ every lie has earned her the scorn and ridicule of a chunk of the nation. That’s probably why she didn’t kick her comfy shoes from Clarks into high gear and exit the White Correspondents’ Dinner last night. Sarah stayed put as the night’s emcee Michelle Wolf from The Daily Show did a whole routine on her and POTUS last night. Michelle dragged Trump and his crew up and down that room. According to Vulture, many Trump officials walked out in protest and Michelle is being alternately celebrated/excoriated on social media this morning. Judging by their track record so far, this is probably one administration that should be able to take a joke.
