After HBO dropped Leaving Neverland on us back in March, it seemed like everyone was quick to pick a side. Aaron Carter initially defended Michael Jackson. And on the other side, radio stations refused to play Michael Jackson’s music. Kieran Culkin is right in the middle.
Kieran spent a bit of time at the Neverland Ranch in the 1980s and 1990s, because his big brother Macaulay Culkin was very good friends with MJ (a sentence that’s never not weird to type). Kieran was recently asked about Leaving Neverland, and he’s got thoughts on the matter, but he isn’t really picking a side or saying too much about it.

Back in February of last year, Lisa Marie Presley was estranged from her husband, flat broke, and suing her former financial manager for making her trade in all her leather and velvet outfits for an old barrel and suspenders. Well, I guess that barrel was too scratchy and uncomfortable so Lisa’s decided it’s time to cash in her last chip by signing a multi-million dollar book deal. A source tells Page Six it will be “a bombshell” that “promises shocking revelations about Michael Jackson and a completely new understanding of Elvis”. While there is no mention whatsoever about her including details about her 107-day marriage to Nicolas Cage, I am still interested. Her life, I’m sure, is all the way bananas.

The human embodiment of a cry for help, Aaron Carter, tested the waters a couple of months ago by teasing that he had a story to tell about Michael Jackson that might contradict his previous assertion that Michael was an innocent angel sent from heaven as a gift to the little boys and girls (ok, just the boys) of planet earth. Well I guess Aaron was holding onto to this explosive revelation until he had something new to promote. Aaron’s timed his big reveal to coincide with the announcement of his appearance on Marriage Boot Camp. And even though it was pretty much a nothing burger of a revelation (big surprise), it didn’t go over so well with MJ’s fans. So he walked it back.

The Jackson Estate Responded To “Leaving Neverland” With Their Own Documentary
People is reporting that The Jackson Estate has decided to make a documentary of their own. Yes, the way that rappers these days will release a response to a diss track made against them, The Jackson Estate decided to release it’s own documentary in response to the Michael Jackson one which details alleged sexual abuse he committed against James Safechuck and Wade Robson when they were kids–Leaving Neverland. They’re also calling their response doc Neverland Firsthand, and not sure if you want to use the word “hand” when responding to child-touching allegations, but okay.
