When we last left Mama June Shannon last year, she had just married her boyfriend of a year Justin Stroud. Before that, she was in a messy, messy relationship with Gene Doak that involved a DUI crash, drug-induced fights, and June getting busted for drug possession in Alabama. Mama June is sober now, and while promoting her new series Mama June: Family Crisis, she tells The Daily Mail that she really, really regrets blowing through $1 million in drugs. But Mama June is on a budget now, so she’s probably strictly using generic brand ketchup and butter for her world-famous sketti sauce.

I’m not sure how Here Comes Honey Boo Boo alum and current Mama June: Road to Redemption star Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and her family keep popping up in the news and creeping their way back into our day-to-day lexicon (probably has something to do with June “Mama June” Shannon continuing to Mama June), but here we are. Last year, 16-year-old Alana was in the news for going public with her then 20-year-old boyfriend, Dralin Carswell. Lots of people didn’t approve of the age difference since Alana is a minor. It’s technically not illegal for them to be together since the age of consent in their home state of Georgia is 16, but anyone who has been 16 probably remembers being 16 and that making grown-up decisions at that age probably ain’t it. Alana and Dralin are still going strong, though, and Alana was even recently seen wearing a diamond-looking ring on her special freak-out finger which got people talking. As any of you who have been following the fucked-up love life of fucked-up mother Mama June knows, her current boyfriend, Gene Doak is a disaster (exhibits: A, B and C), and is only one of her better boyfriends because he didn’t molest her own daughter. So I mean… the bar is pretty low. And now Geno is continuing to show how he’s only a slight improvement by drunkenly crashing his SUV into June’s garage.
Mama June’s Boyfriend Threatened To Kill Her Before Their Arrest
We’re getting some more information on Mama June’s arrest last week. Mama June and her boyfriend Geno Doak were arrested at an Alabama gas station last Friday and charged with drug possession. The were arrested holding: crack cocaine, a needle and a crack pipe. And that’s not all, TMZ is reporting that before the arrest, Geno also threatened to kill Mama June. And not just kill her by getting her hooked on crack, he meant murder-kill her.
