Early Reviews Of “Mary Poppins Returns” Are Looking Good. Can We Say The Same About The Fashions At The Premiere?

Last night was the world premiere of the much anticipated/hyped Mary Poppins Returns starring Emily Blunt as everybody’s favorite bitchy babysitter. The early reviews are in, and either nobody wants to be the Grinch who shat on Christmas, or it hit its mark. According to Cinema Blend, the majority of the reviews are overwhelmingly positive. One critic called it “practically perfect in every way“. And for the most part, the red carpet looks at the premiere were pretty good too, for the women and children. However, there was a problem in the menswear department.

The Answer To The Question “Is It Possible For My Ears To Orgasm?” Has Been Answered!

When Prince Hot Ginge told Duchess Meghan that they were going to the THI-TURR last night, she must’ve figured they were going to go see Chicago, because she looked like she was ten seconds away from swirling out a Bob Fosse jazz hand while singing, “… the name on everybody’s lips is gonna be MEY-GHAN!” (see: the Roxie Hart shit she wore to the theater in the video after the cut). But they went to see Hamilton instead. The performance was a gala to raise money for PHG’s charity Sentebale, which helps children and young people living with HIV in Lesotho and Botswana. At the end of the show, PHG got onstage to thank everyone and while up there, he crooned out bits of a Hamilton song into a mic. That mic is now pregnant with little ginger mic babies. Those ginger mic babies will be seventh in line to the throne.

Fosse! Fosse! Fosse! Sam Rockwell And Michelle Williams Are Set To Star In A FX Limited Series With Lin-Manuel Miranda Producing

Jazz hands up, toes down! Sam I always feel like somebody’s watching me Rockwell and the other Michelle Williams are set to star in an FX limited series about dance legends Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon. Geeks like me rejoice! Only, can these two even dance? Variety reports that Lin-Manuel Miranda will be an executive producer and the first episode will be directed by LMM frequent collaborator Thomas Kail (also producing) who’s directed productions of “Hamilton” for the stage, as well as Grease Live! on Fox. The show, which is going by the title Fosse/Verdon for now, will be based on the book Fosse which I read because I can’t touch a hat without sliding my fingers across the brim back and forth. Yes, even ball caps.

Despite Russell Crowe’s worst efforts, the movie musical is not dead. It’s actually doing quite well, thanks in no small part, to Lin-Manuel Miranda and Hamilton becoming the talk of the town. According to The Hollywood Reporter, In The Heights, Lin’s first big smash hit and Tony winning juggernaut, is finally on track to get a big screen adaptation after sitting in limbo because of everybody’s least favorite guy, Harvey Fucking Weinstein.
