YouTube’s Try Guys Kicked Member Ned Fulmer To The Curb After He Cheated On His Wife
I don’t know who the fuck The Try Guys are, but today my Twitter feed was filled with their pics and references to a cheating scandal. So here we are! Now, at first glance, I assumed the Try Guys were a Christian a cappella group, but I was mistaken. Jezebel reports that they’re actually a “Buzzfeed series turned independent YouTube channel.“ They have almost 8 million subscribers, and their videos have titles likem “The Try Guys Bake Pie Without A Recipe,” “Keith Eats Everything At KFC,” and “The Try Guys Switch Pets For A Day.” One of the men, Ned Fulmer (second to right, beard), is known as a “Wife Guy.” His wife of ten years, Ariel Fulmer, appears in many videos. So fans’ worlds were rocked when 35-year-old Ned was accused of cheating on Ariel with Try Guys producer Alex Herring. And, this just in, after an “internal review,” the Try Guys dumped Ned! Makes sense. Philanderers aren’t a good fit for their brand, which appears to be “so earnest it hurts.”
A Nursing Home In Taiwan Has Apologized For Hiring A Stripper To Perform For Its Elderly Residents
The New York Post reports that a nursing home in Taiwan had some ‘splaining to do after booking some unconventional entertainment for their Mid-Autumn Festival party. The Mid-Autumn Festival, aka the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, is an important Chinese holiday that celebrates the season’s rice and wheat harvests. Sadly, the last two Mid-Autumn Festival parties at the Taoyuan Veterans Home have been cancelled due to COVID. This year, staff wanted to make it up to their residents by doing something extra special. So they hired a stripper! That’ll lift their spirits (and more, if they timed their Viagra right)!
Will Smith Released An Apology Video For Slapping Chris Rock At The Oscars
4 months after The Slap™ heard round the world, Will Smith has posted a video apologizing to Chris Rock for his actions at the 2022 Oscars. Will’s YouTube vid, titled “It’s been a minute….”, clocks in at 5 minutes and 44 seconds, and features Will answering so-called fan questions. These questions include, “Why didn’t you apologize to Chris during your acceptance speech?”, “After Jada rolled her eyes, did she tell you to do something?”, and “Why did you choose to sit directly in front of a white ball light while wearing a white ball cap? It makes you look like an egg head. I feel like the production designer for this apology video should’ve caught that. Are you planning to slap the production designer for this apology video?”
Lizzo Changed Her Song “Grrrls” After She Got Shit Over The Ableist Lyrics
Lizzo’s got a new album coming out in July. You may have heard the first single, “About Damn Time”, cuz it’s all over the TikToks. Her follow-up single is called “Grrrls”, and, over the weekend, its lyrics sparked some controversy. At the beginning of the song, Lizzo sings, “Do you see this shit? I’ma spaz.” She meant that she’s about to freak out, but, as many people on social media pointed out, “spaz” is actually an ableist slur. It comes from the word “spastic”, a term used to describe spastic paralysis, typical of cerebral palsy. Following the backlash, Lizzo apologized and changes the lyrics to “Hold me back.” She says the slur was unintentional; she was unaware it was offensive. Ah, the ignoramus defense. After Neil Patrick Harris’ 2011 Meat Platter Inspired By Amy Winehouse’s Corpse Resurfaced, He Apologized
On July 23, 2011 Amy Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning at age 27. Three months later, Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, David Burtka, threw a Halloween party. Now, there’s no good reason these two events should be connected, but, alas, they are. All because Neil and David made the extremely sensitive decision to include a buffet platter that was made to look like “The Corpse of Amy Winehouse”; complete with Amy’s trademark beehive hairdo, tattoos, and her bloodied, decomposing face.
The next day party guest Justin Mikita (husband of Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson) tweeted a photo of the Amy corpse platter, and people were pretty pissed off. But, because it was the olden days, NPH never addressed the controversy and we all moved on to bigger and better things (like Kim Kardashian filing for divorce from Kris Humphries after 72 days). Bette Midler Apologized For Talking Shit About The People Of West Virginia
West Virginians, rise up! Bette Midler has come for you! Yesterday Bette took to Twitter to blast Democratic senator Joe Manchin for continuing to block President Biden’s infrastructure plan in Congress. She tweeted that Joe won’t let America move forward, and “he wants us all to be just like his state, West Virginia. Poor, illiterate, and strung out.” Yeesh, tell us what you really think, Bette!
