A few years ago, the late, great Joan Rivers’ daughter Melissa Rivers claimed that Joan used to drink a little morning time Chardonnay out of a coffee cup while filming E!’s Fashion Police at 7 in the morning. Margaret Cho went on the PEOPLE podcast and backed Melissa up. Margaret worked with Joan on Fashion Police and she explained that they would film at “really weird” hours in order to cover the previous evening’s award show. Like at 4:00 AM. And while the other hosts would chug coffee to wake their asses up, Ms. Joan, who passed away in 2014 at the age of 81 (her face was only 17), opted for something a little more creative; she’d empty out her giant Starbucks cup and fill it with white wine. All the better to shit on celebrity fashion with, my dear!

You ever have one of those situations where you really just need something desperately but you didn’t know that you needed it until it’s staring you in the face? If not, hopefully you’re about to. Missy Elliott just released the final video for the single Cool Off from her 2019 EP Iconography and it’s the only thing I want to look at for the next week. Maybe month. Possibly the year, I dunno, we’ll see how long it takes for this busted ass timeline to fold in on itself and we’re all crushed underfoot by coughing dinosaurs. I hope cancer has finally learned its lesson, once and for all, not to fuck with Olivia Newton-John. Recently, Radar ran a story claiming that Olivia was “clinging to life”. According to People, as a result, rumors spread that her body was “shutting down” and that she only had “weeks to live”. This was news to Olivia. While she is currently managing her third bought of breast cancer, she’s not about to lend her angelic voice to the heavenly choir anytime soon.
