Gal Gadot Confirmed That Joss Whedon Tried Threatening Her Career

May 10, 2021 / Posted by:

Joss Whedon was accused of being an absolute dump-stain of a person when actors from Justice League revealed just how shitty he was to them. Ray Fisher got the ball rolling and triggered a Warner Bros. investigation into Joss after Ray accused Joss of being abusive on the set of JL. The investigation seemingly led to Joss leaving his HBO show The Nevers, and then two exposés were published about how awful Joss was on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel after Charisma Carpenter, Michelle Trachtenberg and more came out and said he was vile and strongly hinted at pervy behavior. During Joss’ public flaying, it was suggested that he had also threatened Gal Gadot’s career while working with her on JL. She recently spoke to Israeli media and confirmed it, Joss tried it with her because she took issue with his corny dialogue. Well, maybe he should have written something about living in a society?

The Hollywood Reporter Published More Details Of Joss Whedon’s Alleged Asshole Behavior On The Set Of “The Justice League”

April 6, 2021 / Posted by:

Joss Whedon is a dick. At least according to most people who’ve worked for him. Ray Fisher was the first brave soul to sound the alarm after Joss directed him in Justice League, and Gal Gadot eventually admitted that her experience on that set “wasn’t the best one.”

Now Ray has given his first sit-down interview to The Hollywood Reporter. Rays talks about general racist bullshit on set, how Joss didn’t care about his opinion as a Black actor playing a Black character, and how the Warner Bros. investigation let the top execs off the hook. He declined to get into the details of Gal vs. Joss, but other sources say that Gal and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins “went to battle” with Joss over the direction of the character. The sources claim that Joss said that Gal should just “shut up and say the lines”, and that he could hurt her career. Hmmm, I wonder if Joss will ever make good on that threat?

The Release Of “Death On The Nile” Has Been Pushed To 2022

March 24, 2021 / Posted by:

We’ve had a whole year’s worth of headlines about movie releases getting pushed back and other films getting dumped onto the most relevant streaming service, all due to COVID-19. And while some movie theaters are beginning to open back up, the movie-going industry is still messier than the reviews of Doolittle. So it shouldn’t shock anyone that the release of Death on the Nile, the follow-up to 2017’s Murder on the Orient Express, has been moved again, this time to February 11, 2022. Oh, did I forget to mention that Death on the Nile stars Armie Hammer? Hmmm…I wonder why they suddenly decided to wait a whole year before releasing this movie? Interesting.

December 28, 2020 / Posted by:

Wonder Woman 1984 was released in theaters and on HBO Max on Christmas Day, and many watched it and thought, “Okay, that was a mess that actually happened.” The reviews have also been mixed, but since it’s one of the only big movies to come out in theaters in the past few months, it got the biggest box office opening of the pandemic. And because of that, a third movie has been fast-tracked. Oh good! Because a significant drop in quality will absolutely be remedied by then speeding up the next.

Gal Gadot Says That Her Experience With Joss Whedon “Wasn’t The Best One”

December 18, 2020 / Posted by:

Gal Gadot spoke to The Los Angeles Times to promote Wonder Woman 1984 and during her talk with them she mentioned the whole Joss Whedon investigation being done by Warner Bros. As a member of the Justice League, she too was asked about Joss’ alleged asshole behavior on-set. And guess what? She admitted she had some issues with him too. Welp, no need to Lasso of Truth anyone here, seems everyone is freely down to say Joss Whedon is kind of an asshole.

“Wonder Woman 1984” Will Hit Theaters And HBO Max On Christmas Day

November 19, 2020 / Posted by:

It looks like we’ll finally all get to see the much-anticipated and constantly delayed release of Wonder Woman 1984, the sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman. And you don’t even have to leave the comfort (and safety) of your own home to do it. That’s because Warner Bros. announced that WW84 will be dropping in theaters on Christmas Day, as previously promised, but it will also premiere on HBO Max. I guess I should have been more specific when I said we’ll all finally get to see it. Technically you’re gonna have to have an HBO Max subscription, or enough charm and charisma to butter up a friend who will give you their log-in and password info. Hey, it’s the holidays – it’s the least they can do, right?
