Pocahontas Is Edward Norton’s 12th Great Grandmother

January 5, 2023 / Posted by:

The popular PBS series Finding Your Rootshosted by Henry Louis Gates Jr., has given many celebrities moments of shock and awe when finding out they are the direct descendants of hoodlums, harlots, and whatever other shocking shit that keeps PBS’ ratings high. For example, Tina Fey’s great-grandfather was one of Benjamin Franklin’s closest drinking buddies. And Larry David is a distant relative of Bernie Sanders, which none of us will be able to unsee now because TWINS! But they can all tuck their boring little DNA discoveries away forever because Edward Norton wins since his 12th great-grandmother was the one and only Pocahontas.

Brian Cox Comes For Johnny Depp, Quentin Tarantino, David Bowie And More In His New Autobiography

October 28, 2021 / Posted by:

You’re never going to have to do much to sell me on a book of cocks, so selling that shit to me by spelling it “Cox” and adding an apostrophe “s,” is really just gilding the lily. Especially considering that the Cox book in question is a burn all-the-bridges Hollywood memoir written by a 75-year-old actor on a hit TV show with nothing to lose. In a new autobiography called Putting the Rabbit in the Hat, Succession star Brian Cox goes ahead and lets us know he thinks Johnny Depp is overrated, praises David Bowie’s beautiful gowns and made me look up the word “meretricious” with his description of Quentin Tarantino’s work even though he says he’d still pick up the phone if the caller ID showed a zoomed-in picture of a big toe. It’s a page right out of the Quincy Jones pee-paw tells all playbook, and I am sold!

The Trailer For Wes Anderson’s “The French Dispatch” Is Here

February 12, 2020 / Posted by:

Wes Anderson is back with another cinematic masterpiece that will make your eyes go “Ooh!” and your brain go “Huh?”. After watching the trailer for The French Dispatch I have no idea what the plot is other than it involves some sort of publication I’m assuming is called The French Dispatch. But it sure looks nice!  Continue reading

Janeane Garofalo Blames Edward Norton For Her Losing Out On Helena Bonham Carter’s Role In “Fight Club”

February 1, 2020 / Posted by:

Last night, at a semi-drunken gathering to watch Taylor Swift’s Netflix doc (some of us gays really have to start having kids), someone suddenly looked up from their phone to announce that Janeane Garofalo was blaming Edward Norton for her losing out on the “Marla” role in Fight Club. This seemed like such an odd complaint, so obtuse, so vague, that everyone stayed silent and then quickly went back to critiquing Taylor’s choice to go with a bob for that one iteration. But it’s true, ET reports that Janeane says she was going to be Marla until Edward Norton cock-blocked her.

The Alien Lizard King Did Not Win A BAFTA Award Tonight

February 8, 2015 / Posted by:

Now that he was expected to, but now I fully expect his kind to drop in on Earth from their home planet and terrorize London for snubbing their overlord. Thanks, BAFTAs voters, you just started the Reptilian vs. Human war.

Benedict Cumberbatch and his knocked up fiancee Sophie Hunter slithered on the red carpet on the BAFTAs tonight and I don’t think I’ve noticed this before, but have they always had the same shaped face? Did getting filed up with B. Cums’ alien lizard mating nectar morph her face into the same shape as his or have they both always looked like the come-to-life police sketch of an alien? Oscar voting ends in less than 10 days, so I’m highly disappointed that Sophie Hunter didn’t give birth to their spawn right there on the red carpet as a puppy they both rescued from a fire (for real and not Brian Williams-style) married them. Come on, B. Cums, time is running out and you better start churning out the STUNT QUEEN stunts. Or at least leak career-ruining stories to the media about how Michael Keaton once liked Iggy Azalea’s Facebook page and Eddie Redmyane actually paid to see and enjoyed Mortdecai.

Click here to see the full list of all the hos who won tonight, but if you don’t want to see the full list, here’s the nominees and winners of some of the main categories.

Do we even need to bother with the Oscars at this point? I’d bet my beat down asshole on Julianne Moore, J.K. Simmons and Patricia Arquette getting trophies. Can’t they just skip all the speeches and handing out of awards and instead air a documentary on the life of Dick Poop?

Here’s more pictures from tonight including some of Michael Keaton, Keira Knightley and Laura Jeanne Poon. I kind of want the Bobbies to fuck with Laura Jeanne Poon after one of the BAFTA after-parties, because I’m wondering what she’d yell at police if she couldn’t yell, “I’M AN AMERICAN CITIZEN ON AMERICAN SOIL!
