Danny Boyle Thinks Robert Pattinson Would Make A Great James Bond
Director Danny Boyle already shot his shot with James Bond and hit nothing but rim, but that’s not stopping him from dream-casting subsequent Bonds after Daniel Craig hangs up the tuxedo and Speedo for good. Danny’s dream Bond is soon-to-be Batman Robert Pattinson. That’s a long shot, even if the franchise manages to survive the probably cursed Bond 25 production that Danny was originally hired to be direct before leaving over “creative differences” (maybe he tried to replace Daniel with a Jonas Brother or something). But then again, Robert has a better chance of becoming Bond at this point than Idris Elba, a woman, or Michael Jackson. So maybe Danny’s on to something.
A Toilet Camera Was Found On The “James Bond 25” Set
You know how in theater folklore when everyone in a play loses their shit if you say “Macbeth” out loud, because it supposedly causes bad luck demons to ruin the play? Someone must have triggered the James Bond equivalent of the “Macbeth” curse (maybe someone said “Pussy Galore?”) because that set is cursed! The set is now a LITERAL shit show seeing as they reportedly arrested a guy for planting a toilet camera in the women’s loo on the set.
An Explosion Rocked The Set Of “Bond 25” Injuring A Crew Member
Whoever’s in charge of updating the “accident free for ___ days” sign in the break room at the Bond 25 studio has been getting a workout. They can go ahead and erase that 17 and set it back to zero. Last month Bond de jour Daniel Craig injured his ankle on set in Jamaica, requiring minor surgery and a 2-week production stoppage. Now, according to The Sun, an onset “controlled” explosion at Pinewood Studios caused some major damage and injured a crew member. Thankfully their injuries were only minor, but there are now major whispers that the production is cursed. Could it be that Freddie Mercury isn’t done vexing Rami Malek just yet, and followed him to his new place of business?
Danny Boyle Has Left “James Bond 25”
The Hollywood Reporter says that producers of James Bond 25 announced today on Twitter that Danny Boyle is longer going to direct James Bond 25, which is supposed to be Daniel Craig’s last Bond movie. Danny is leaving due to “creative differences.”

It’s either fitting, or ironic, that the 007 logo sort of looks like a hand pointing, as if to say, “There’s the door, asshole.”
Danny is a big fan of the Bond films, and even featured Daniel Craig’s Bond in the opening ceremony for the 2012 London Olympics (which he directed). Danny’s frequent collaborative screenwriter John Hodge was reportedly working on a script for the next Bond movie based on an idea by Danny. Not to mention that Danny was reportedly MGM’s first choice to direct the film. Sam Mendes had directed the previous two Bond films, Skyfall and Spectre. Production on James Bond 25 is set to begin in December, so there’s still some time to find a replacement.
As for what exactly those creative differences are, it’s not known. Variety says that Danny was in the early stages of casting the new Bond girl and villain when the decision was made that he’d leave the production. Maybe they had creative differences over the Bond girl. Danny was reportedly working on updating the franchise to reflect the #MeToo era, and I can maybe see a disagreement happening there. Like between Danny and an older 007 traditionalist who tries to argue that #MeToo in James Bond’s world means a second Bond girl enters the bedroom and asks “Me too?” before dropping her clothes.

Danny Boyle Will Direct The Next “James Bond” Movie And Promises A Bond Girl Fit For The #Metoo Era
Daniel Craig’s last go round (definitely, maybe, probably, I’m sure, unless it isn’t in which case next to last at most but probably last, for sure) as James Bond will be directed by Danny Boyle and, according to Page Six, it will feature a Bond girl who is more than the sum of her parts (traditionally that adds up to tits, ass and a confusing pan-european accent). Danny recently said he wants to make a Bond girl who is compatible with the “modern world”.
