“The Bachelor’s” Chris Soules Was Given A Two-Year-Suspended Prison Sentence

Chris Soules, 37, was The Bachelor in the long-running eyeroll-fest’s 19th season. You would think that would lead to a peaceful life sans the gal he chose (his engagement to winner Whitney Bischoff only lasted six months), with maybe an endorsement deal for a local lawnmower shop and a brief appearance in a The Bachelor: Where Are They Now? special somewhere down the road. Unfortunately for Chris (more so for the deceased), shit didn’t turn out that way. People reports that he was just given a two-year suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty to leaving the scene of a car accident where someone was killed. An accident that HE caused. There goes the lawnmower deal.

“The Bachelor” Chris Soules Has To Pay $2.5 Million To The Family Of The Man He Killed

You’ve gotta hand it to Chris Soules for taking his “Prince Farming” schtick to to new heights of absurdity. Chris was the man handing out the roses on season 19 of The Bachelor and now he’s going to be handing out $2.5 million to the family of the man he killed when he plowed into a John Deere tractor with his big ‘ole truck. Sure, I guess it could happen to anyone, but Chris is facing criminal charges in addition to the civil settlement because he failed to stick around after the accident as required by law.

Former “Bachelor” Chris Soules Has Been Arrested For Allegedly Hitting And Killing The Driver Of A Tractor

Chris Soules, aka Prince Farming from the 19th season of The Bachelor, contestant on The Bachelorette, and fourth runner up on the 20th season of Dancing with the Stars, is currently in trouble with the law for allegedly fucking up real bad in Buchanan County, Iowa. According to TMZ, Chris Soules rear-ended a John Deere tractor trailer with his pick-up truck on a road last night at around 8:20, sending the tractor and driver into the ditch. Instead of sticking around, he reportedly fled the scene in a panic; state patrol tells KWWL Iowa 7 that he left his truck behind. An ambulance arrived and took the tractor driver to the hospital, where he died.
