“Charmed” Fight! Holly Marie Combs And Sarah Jeffrey Are Beefing Over The Reboot
There’s some more drama in the Charmed-universe! But this drama isn’t about Rose McGowan and Alyssa Milano fighting with each other over how best to fight for feminism. This is a feud between Olde and Nu Charmed Houses. After Holly Marie Combs and Rose talked shit about the remake, Charmed-reboot actress, Sarah Jeffrey, accused them of being salty bitches and being mean to women of color. But Holly fired back saying it has nothing to do with race and that the new show just sucks.
Rose McGowan Claims Alyssa Milano Made The “Charmed” Set A Toxic Space In Latest Twitter Feud
Charmed? More like…the opposite of Charmed (whatever that is). Continuing to completely shit on any hopes of a Charmed reunion, Rose McGowan took yet another swipe at Alyssa Milano, accusing her of, among other things, allegedly creating a completely horrible and toxic work environment for everyone. Rose didn’t really elaborate on what exactly Alyssa is supposed to have done, but other cast members have already come out with their own version of events.
Don’t Hold Your Breath For That “Charmed” Reunion
You remember in the first Scream movie when Rose McGowan’s character tried to escape through the doggie access in the garage door and that asshole Ghostface flipped the switch? And she got smooshed? Well, that’s what Rose has been doing to Hollywood since she became one of the first female celebrities to speak openly about Harvey Weinstein. Showbiz has been trying to escape out the doggie door and Rose is smooshing those fools!
Sometime back, Rose shaved her head, said “EFF IT” to her career, loosened her cannon, and started tweeting. Since the Weinstein situation broke, she’s been calling everyone out in Hollywood whom she feels is either an abuser or complicit in said abuse.Take for example, her former Charmed co-star Alyssa Milano. Despite Alyssa’s now famous tweet urging her followers to use the #MeToo hashtag (that was started by social activist Tarana Burke in 2006), Rose remains unimpressed. Specifically, because Alyssa has also been going to bat for Harvey Weinstein’s now ex-wife, fashion designer Georgina Chapman. Much like you won’t see Rose wearing Marchesa anytime soon, you also won’t see her signing on to a Charmed reunion. Rose went in on Alyssa on Twitter on Friday. Shannen Doherty Isn’t Feeling The “Charmed” Reboot
The only reason to reboot Charmed is so actress Finola Hughes (who played the mom of the dopey witch-sisters) can grace primetime screens once more. Shannen Doherty probably saw that Finola wasn’t on any of the call sheets and told them to keep Prue Halliwell six feet under. Shannen is not on board for the proposed Charmed reboot. Continue reading
