JonBenet Ramsey’s Brother Settled His $750 Million Lawsuit Against CBS
Many who caught CBS’ docu-series The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey back in September of 2016 probably came to the same conclusions that I did at the end of it:
1) I need to secure all the access points to my home and maybe buy a taser or collapsible baton just in case Burke Ramsey’s in the neighborhood and looking for his bowl of pineapple.
2) Burke Ramsey (could have possibly but we can’t say) killed his little sister, 6-year-old child beauty queen JonBenet.
CBS ended the series by pushing the theory that Burke killed JonBenet and his parents covered it up including writing a fake ransom letter. Burke Ramsey was angry by the show’s conclusion that he might have killed sis for stealing his pineapple at the age of 10. So he sued CBS for $750 million. Well, they’ve settled.
Burke Ramsey Is Suing CBS For $750 Million
Burke Ramsey, the older brother of JonBenét Ramsey, finally made good on his threat to sue CBS (and others) for ruining his reputation with this year’s series The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey. The NY Times reports that Burke was not at all pleased with the conclusion of the show, which says he probably killed JonBenét because of some pineapple thievery, and his parents did some extra shady shit to protect him.
In the lawsuit filed Wednesday, Burke Ramsey claims that the network, its production company and the experts interviewed in the series on the unsolved murder conspired to defame him for publicity and profit … The new lawsuit says CBS and its featured experts set out to conduct a “sham reinvestigation” of the murder with “the preconceived the storyline” that Ramsey killed his sister and conspired with his parents to cover it up.

At the end of CBS’ 2-part, 4-hour investigative series about the murder of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey, the experts decided that her 9-year-old brother Burke Ramsey is probably the one who killed her. The experts all signed off on the theory that JonBenet stole a piece of pineapple from Burke and he got back at her by hitting her over the head with a heavy flashlight. They believe that John and Patsy Ramsey covered up for their son by making it look like a kidnapper murdered their daughter. Of course, Burke didn’t like being labeled as a possible child murderer and so he threatened to sue CBS. Burke hasn’t sued CBS yet, but he did file a $150 million lawsuit against Dr. Werner Spitz, one of the leading investigators in the special.
