Pauly Shore Either Loved Or Hated That Jimmy Kimmel Made A Joke About Him At The Oscars

March 14, 2023 / Posted by:

There are two sides to every story, and sometimes there are even two sides to each side of every story. Such is the case with the cast of 1992’s Encino Man which starred first-time Oscar winner Brendan Fraser, first-time Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan and multiple Razzies winner Pauly Shore. According to Entertainment Weekly, Pauly, the winner of Worst New Star of the Year for Encino Manloved it” when Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at him in his opening monologue. But according to Page Six, the winner of Worst New Star of the Decade for the 1990s reminded them that “human beings have feelings,” and his were apparently hurt when Jimmy suggested that “maybe it’s time to reboot Bio-Dome” a movie for which Pauly won Worst Actor of the Year.

Dave Coulier Shared His First Thoughts Upon Hearing Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know”

July 15, 2022 / Posted by:

Back in the 90s, those of us who watched Full House on a Friday night for our dose of campy family wholesomeness didn’t realize that the zany, seemingly unfuckable Uncle Joey Gladstone was played by an actor who left the set after a long day of having his hand up a woodchuck puppet’s ass to go get his wang mouthified in a movie theater by our favorite new angsty artist, Alanis Morissette. But, after Uncle Joey, née Dave Coulier, first heard Alanis’ breakout 1995 hit, You Oughta Know, he realized that after the dissolution of their two-year relationship, he might be the guy who made some of the “mess” she was singing about.

Ja Rule Managed To Book A Headlining Gig At A Musical Festival But Didn’t Show Up For It

September 28, 2021 / Posted by:

As everyone knows, Ja Rule was one of the original architects of the absolutely criminal Fyre Festival–where a bunch of people paid way too much money to party on an island and ended up stranded and starved. Ja Rule was legally cleared of any wrongdoing, and Fyre Festival’s main schemer, Billy McFarland, was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of wire fraud in 2018. It seems like music festivals and Ja Rule really do not mix, but he recently agreed to headline the 90s Nostalgia Music Festival in Toronto, which happened over the weekend. But while Ja Rule did show up to perform during Jennifer Lopez’s set at the Global Citizen Live show in NYC on Saturday night (see: above), he ghosted the 90s Nostalgia Music Festival. He’s not always there when you call, he’s not always on time, he might not even show up at all!

Soleil Moon Frye Says Her First Consensual Sexual Encounter Was With Charlie Sheen

March 15, 2021 / Posted by:

Well, whaddaya know? We’re living in a Soleil Moon Frye renaissance (and I guess a pandemic too?). It’s not just the Punky Brewster reboot on Peacock; Soleil’s got a new Hulu documentary called Kid 90. It uses her own home videos (Soleil carried a camera wherever she went) to tell the story of being a child star in the early 90s. The doc features current interviews with Brian Austin Green, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, David Arquette and Stephen Dorff, and has old footage of Leonardo DiCaprio, Corey Feldman, Sara Gilbert, Freddie Prinze Jr., and more.

Kid 90 also makes use of Soleil’s teenage journal entries. According to one from December 18, 1994, Soleil’s first consensual sexual experience was with Charlie Sheen. She was 18. He was 29. And maybe that screams “ick” to you, but Soleil told USA Today that he was very nice to her and they’re still friends.

Lisa Kudrow Says That “Friends” Would Not Have An All-White Cast Today

May 16, 2020 / Posted by:

Friends came out in 1994 and even then people pointed out that it made NYC look like a place where really no people of color existed and where you could afford a gigantic ass Manhattan apartment from only working 5 hours a week. Well, Lisa Kudrow spoke out about that. The lack of POC thing. Not the whole “they must’ve been undercover drug dealers to afford that apartment” thing.

It seems like every minute, we mere mortals get another peak into the glamorous life of country music queen, and living legend, Dolly Parton. Not only is she reading us bedtime stories during the COVID-19 pandemic, and pushing Playboy to include her on their cover once again, but she’s revealed her husband’s three-way dream with Jennifer Aniston, oh ya and that episode of the Queen Latifah show where she busted out her sickening rap skills…Yes, Dolly is an absolute angel of honesty and transparency who never disappoints with the well-intentioned goods. But she kept a HUGE secret from the world and now it’s out and changes EVERYTHING (not really).
