Diane English of "Murphy Brown" fame has been working on a revised version of the classic  George Cukor film "The Women" for a while now. The remake has been in the works for around 10 years. Well, the cast is set and a shooting date has been sealed in concrete.

 

Meg Ryan, Annette Bening, Eva Mendes, Jada Pinkett Smith, Debra Messing and Candace Bergen will play roles made famous by Joan Crawford and Rosalind Russell.

Mischa Barton's family aren't happy about her relationship with Cisco "nuts to the floor" Adler. According to the NYDN Mischa immediately called Cisco when she was hospitalized this past weekend.

 

A source said, "They were angry about her condition. When they left the room, she ran to the phone and tried to call Cisco Adler. Her dad came back into the room, and heard Mischa deliriously saying, 'Cisco,' Her dad freaked out. She put the phone down, but he yelled at the staff about letting her use the phone."

 

Mischa reportedly broke up with Cisco a couple of months ago.

 

Her rep denies the rumors that Mischa had too many schrooms and that's what landed her in the hospital. Staffers say she did arrive wearing very little clothes. Maybe she puked all over herself? Those duds will be on eBay any minute now. 

 

 

 

JK Rowling just got a whole lot richer. It's not like bitch is already richer than God. She has agreed to a $1 billion Harry Potter theme park to open in Orlando, FL in 2009. The theme park will be part of Universal Orlando.

 

It will be called "Wizarding World of Harry Potter." It will feature locations featured in the book as well as rides and shops. Oh and don't forget $10 sodas!!

 

JK said, he plans "I've seen look incredibly exciting, and I don't think fans of the books or films will be disappointed." What she really meant to say was, "All I saw was dollar signs. I have no idea what they are doing, but I'm buying an island now!"

 

The final Harry Potter book is due out in July.

 

You know you're highly immature when you can't even type HARRY POTTER without typing HAIRY POTTER first. I've done that like ten times during this post. Hairy Potter makes more sense.

Blohan's daddycakes told E! that his daughter is addicted to Oxycontin. I've seen her skin and bitch should really change her addiction to Oxy 5.

 

Anyway, Michael Blohan said he spoke to the staffers at Promises and they said "You Smell!" No, they didn't say that. They said, "I spoke to the people treating Lindsay, because I wanted to make sure she was getting the right care. And I'm satisfied they are doing the right thing for her, helping her detox from the painkillers and things. That's a very important step."

 

Blah! Blah! Blah! Blohan's little stint in rehab is also costing her in the wallet. Not only are some of her film roles in jeopardy, but her big 21st Birthday was going to make her hundreds of thousands of dollars.

 

Svedka Vodka has already pulled out. Caesar's Palace, Treasure Island and Pure Nightclub may follow, because it doesn't make sense for her to have a party right after rehab.

 

Too bad, so sad! Hmm...I wonder who's sponsoring her stay in rehab?

Page Six has obtained an audio tape of Paula Abdul during a conference call with a group of publicists. During the tape Paula lays it on thick getting all emotional.

 

Paula says on the tape, "I've never been treated this way and I've never seen anybody treated this way. This is just too much to stomach. I've been going through tremendous amounts of a difficult time!"

"I do a call-in every week for OK! Magazine on 'American Idol.' Because of my brilliant job, they want to do a cover on me. I'm being told by Howard Bragman that I'm too old and no one will ever want to do a cover.

"I'm being tested. All I've ever wanted in my life is to be treated fairly and be treated with kindness. And I've never in my entire career been treated this way. The people who are supposed to take care of these things do not. I have to clean up after them everywhere they go. And I'm tired of it. Howard Bragman (her former publicist) on Monday - he did some disgusting behavior. I had to go to Jimmy Kimmel with no publicist there. I go on with no publicist there and I pay this man . . .

On the UsWeekly site people are commenting that they think she is too young to be on the cover of a magazine and that they should've gotten her parent's permission.

 

Of course they got her parent's permission! Do they forget that Brangelina were paid for the first photos of Shiloh?! Jesus!
