QOTD: Why The Bitches In School Hated January Jones
I used to think that January Jones had the personality of a plain yogurt container that melted halfway in the microwave after someone tried to make instant oatmeal in it, but I was wrong! January Jones does have a personality and 95% of it is: stuck-up bitch. And I love it! I love an ice cold cunt queen who only lowers his or her eyes to look you down.
When Marie Claire UK asked January about the rumor that she only became a model to prove to the bitches in high school that she's pretty, January threw a "judging you" gaze and let out this gem:
"Where are you getting this shit? It sounds like something I might have said when I was, like, 15. The bitches in high school were bitches because I was pretty.”
That is such a bitchy girl thing to say! Pretty sure the bitchy girls hated January because she was a bitch. I don't know why January doesn't want to say that. I'd much rather be bitchy than pretty (and I am!). Beauty fades, but bitchiness gets better with age!

I doubt January Jones was one of the pretty girls in high school. Judging by her looks now, she was probably really skinny and awkward.
In fact, the only time she looks hawt is when she is on "Mad Men."
This belief that unattractive girls gang up on the prettier girls out of jealousy is a myth. Girls make friends with other girls if they find them nice and friendly in behaviour.Pretty girls or not, everyone wants a friend who is pleasant. I have been in all girls day and boarding schools, as well as mixed day and boarding schools, and always among the girls, being nice and pleasant was the most important. Very pretty girls would attract more friends easily, especially where boys are concerned. But this nonsense about ugly girls hating pretty girls out of jealousy is absolute rubbish.
Maybe that's why she plays ice queen Betty so well, she is basically playing herself.

I like the nice looking well maintained people since they seem to have less angst/issues and do not attack people preemptively (like some ugly insecure bitches) b/c they are intimidated. I find some of the nastiest looking women are the quickest to jump on someone else when they feel intimidated (i.e. nice looking girl starts working in the office, etc) and it's interesting to say the least.
I have a cousin who is so good looking it's insane- naturally pretty not enhanced w. tons of makeup or clothing. I notice on her FB all of the comments are 'you are so pretty! etc etc (she is in her 20s still) and I wonder how it will be for her self esteem like, does anyone ever tell her she's funny (she is) and kind (also that too) Seems like everyone focuses solely on her looks. I do think aging is harder for people like that. One reason I am glad to not have had the onus of being a great beauty like that, haha

And personally I don't see how attractiveness has *anything* to do with having friends and people liking you. Pretty girls have friends and ugly girls have friends and fat girls have friends. There's always the mixing, too, such as the stunningly gorgeous group of girls who have the tag along unattractive female friend. I think if people don't like you, it's something to do with your personality and/or issues. JMO.
