Here's the video for Katy Perry's song "E.T." and it's pretty much what you would see if Wall-E, costumes from Bram Stroker's Dracula, a MAC wallpaper, a Close Encounters of the Third Kind poster, Kim Kardashian's face and horny monkeys had an slow motion orgy inside of a purple lava lamp sitting on a table at the Scientology Center. And, of course, there's Kanye West grabbing at his crotch in the middle of the universe, because he never misses an opportunity to dry fap in public.

@Hotmami if your lower back is hurting with these, please get yourself checked for kidney issues. Chances are, since they're recurring - it's probably the urethra tube itself. Given that you've had a child there could be post birth trauma. It's very common. AZO makes great products and your DR can write a rather cheap script for a non narcotic pain reliever that will allow urine screening. AZO does prevent proper screening due to the dye.

@Hotmami there's a possibility that your urethra has a short tube (to put it in simple terms) and it's just your physical makeup. Antibiotics are more damaging then you might think. Antibiotics like Cipro work once or twice but afterwards are rather useless. Cipro is very damaging as well (although effective if you rarely have UTI's). The obvious ways to handle UTI's is preventive measures (which I'm sure you know.) drink LOTS of water, 1 glass of cranberry a day (or the pills) and use unscented non color toiletpaper, wiping front to back (dur). Make sure you aren't allergic to your panties and not using soap etc. There's so many things that cause it but yes, using soap on your cooch isn't recommended. Warm water is enough (our bodies shouldn't stink). Sex causes it from friction, dirty ass dicks (dildos) or butt germs floating upwards. These are all things we know but it's good to remember.

Oh my god....I was you a few years ago. QUEEN OF UTI'S....I'm talking ALL THE TIME. I was in a (bad) relationship so barely having sex but I always followed the tips (cranberry juice,pee after sex,drink water before sex,um the OBVIOUS wipe front to back) and I still got them. Haven't had a problem in the last few years. I can honestly say a bad one was one of the worst pains EVER. All I can say is keep that over the counter stuff that turns your pee red on hand (uristat).DRINK TONS OF WATER......and I wastold to get checked for a "short urethra" at the time but I didn't have insurance.

I like most pop music but this song is garbage...the video is even worse. I watched Naked Gun 2 1/2 last weekend (don't laugh) and they did that same shit where they show video clips that are sexually suggestive, like a missile coming out of a silo. That was over 20 years ago.

That is wonderful, chelsea. I'm so happy you found a good place for your grandma. My mom is still pretty young and would definitely feel abandoned if I moved her to assisted living. I will make due for now and of course consider all my options when the time comes (sooner rather than later I'm sure). She is still working some right now (while we try to get her approved for full disability, so stupid considering her condition that this is even a question) so she does have insurance.

@stoney it shows up on your credit report but does NOT demote your score. It's just there as reference. You won't be denied a credit card, a home loan or a student loan due to unpaid medical debt. Almost everyone out there has some sort of medical debt, that's just the honest truth. Many charities will pick up things like this if you just ask around. I worked as a debt collector and I have power of atty over my grandmother currently, I have been through the mess you're currently in. My grandmother lived with me until 2 years ago, I simply couldn't care for her dementia in the way she needed so now she's in assisted living and thriving. She has activities and they are specific to dementia etc, she's stuck in 1940's so her room is ALL 1940's. There's zero point in confusing her with current bullshit. It just upsets her. I don't pay nearly anything out of pocket for her services as her pension and the holocaust memorial funds cover most of it. I'm attempting to keep her off of medicare but she does have medicaid. Best damn thing I've done.

Amfuckingmen! I'm convinced that all happy go lucky people, don't have the lives they portray on social networking sites. In fact, I can honestly say - my best friend doesn't have the life she speaks of. I mean, she has the life but I know damn well she's not earning the funds to pay for the stupid shit she buys. She's a god damn finance grad too! People put their best foot forward on those things. I on the other hand, no longer have an FB but when I did - I was a bitchin' and a moanin' forever long. I lost most of my followers because my status updates were "fuck this shit" and "I hate people". I never said anything in specific but it was enough. Stoney, don't beat yourself up over the facade you see on there. Seriously.
Do you realize how many people have these lavish weddings that they will be paying off for the next 10 years? most of the debt outlives their wedding, and that's sad.

I did work for a collections agency that handled medical and student loans, if you have questions - I'll try and help.
As far as your mother is concerned, you are an amazing daughter for helping. I understand fully the concern about the "home" but there are so many assisted living facilities now that it's not as bad as it seems. If it comes down to it, there are a ton of people that can help you figure one out. She could have her own apartment in the community with things to do, and a nurse. It's expensive but there's ways to make it work. But that doesn't make today any easier :( Most medical professionals will do payment plans without interest for 12 months. You have to ask though, as they don't attempt to work with you normally. Billing and Insurance depts aren't exactly sweethearts for just cause.
Hang in there hon, it's just a tough day - tomorrow will be better. Promise. Just keep in mind that they can't DO anything, it takes 6 months to go to collections and if a debt changes hands 3 times then you can dispute it (The original debtor is rarely listed and that's cause for termination of collection- true fact). There are charities that will pick up debt AND if you're here in the states medicaid or medicare are VERY helpful. If you aren't on it now, get on it. It's a life saver. If she's dependent on you and there's a way to get power of atty, then you probably should. At least this way you could help handle things without it being a total nightmare. There's more options available to her then you might think. There's assistance available for those that need it. No shame in getting it hon. It's meant for those like yourself who are in a tough place and can benefit from it all. Medicare and Medicaid just might cover her dental costs as they will go back 3 months from the time you qualify.

Stoney - I don't know if it works the same for dentists as with doctors, but doctors are required to give you an estimate of the cost before services are performed.
If the dentist is your dad's friend, maybe your dad can talk to him? Sometimes, the dentist/doctor is totally unaware of what the bookkeeper is doing, so maybe the bill isn't what the dentist meant it to be?
Plus, is your mom on medicaid? Maybe they should be paying some of this?

Oh my God, I could rant about Facebook for days (and often do). BELIEVE ME when I say that NO ONE is as happy/settled/content as they portray themselves to be on Facebook. No one. I used to always put up happy Facebook statuses and pictures in college to make it seem like I was having the time of my life. Reality? I was a depressed, bulimic, alcoholic closeted lesbian. YUPPPPP.

I may be married, have my beautiful kids and a house, but I am in no way financially secure. We struggle each month.
Every Fucking MONTH... the same story! fuck still paying for last year's vacation that we should've NOT taken btw . But hey.. beautiful pictuers for FB!
Yes, the work is already done. But the work was so major there is no way I would have trusted a dental student. We needed an experienced oral surgeon (what this "friend" is).
