Britney Spears' Good Morning America mini-show aired today and I've seen her use more energy when walking to the car with a Venti Frapp in her hand. This was the laziest LIP SYNCH FOR YOUR LIFE I evah did see. Brit, you will not be returning to the Interior Illusions Lounge so please pack up your tuck and go (wrong show?). And yes, you fu(censored)ed it up.
The chances of Brit Brit singing live are about as slim as me making sense in a post. It's not going to happen, so just deal with it. Because Brit isn't using her energy on making her vocal cords yodel, one might think she'd put her all into dancing. Yeah, check NEGATIVE on that box too. When Brit kept mouthing the words "Would you hold it against me?," I kept waiting for medical technicians to come out and hold defibrillator pads against her. Maybe that will pump some life into her rock hard boner bones. Brit was moving like an animatronic robot whose Dollar Store batteries are about to go dead. But you know, it's wrong of me to think this.
BRIT BRIT must be exhausted. Think of all the hours, focus and raw emotions she spent on writing the songs for her new album! Oh, you say she didn't write any of those songs? Okay, think of how she sang her weave tracks off in the recording studio and poured her heart out! Oh, you say that's not her voice. You say it's the chipmunk-ized voice of an analog answering machine from 1987? Oh, okay. Well, think of how she had to order a Frapp Kegi at Starbucks every single morning before going to the studio to listen to songs. SEE! Brit has earned the right to cacka mosey mosey mosey through a pre-taped performance! She's got a lot on her mind (like ten pounds of Falcor hair).

omg britney wtf? i just keep thinkin about how oldschool britney wud hav rocked these performances. her handlers are always talkin about her comeack but a true britney comeback wud involve hardcore dancing, then people wud say yea she's back. and she's 28 or 29 so its not cuz she's old and yea she has knee problems but she cud atleast move her upper body w/ conviction or something. and honestly i don't think her knee is the problem.
Back in '99 when she first came out with her 'All American girl' image, I NEVER thought that her future would look like this! When I remember her doing all those back flips in the 'Baby One More Time' video and then watch this...I just want to *face palm!*

The pre-2005 clips of that Britney dance break mashup were AMAZING. She used to be precise, on fire, kept a connection with the crowd, and interacted with the world around her. I miss THAT girl.
The lobotomized robot we see now can't even whip her hair back and forth correctly.

I'm not a fan but I do feel very sorry for Brit. After the stabby brella incident (and others) she gets thrown into the psych ward, put under Dad arrest then thrown back onto the nearest stage.
After a major breakdown she should have had at least a year off to get herself together. Dad should have taken her out of L.A. (forcibly if necessary) and amassed a team of medical and psychiatric specialists to put the poor girl back together again away from the paps and in the complete absence of work committments.
I think that Brit has been treated worse than a pit pony by the greedy powers that be.

I saw Britney over a year ago on her Circus tour and she was the same way there. Her back-up dancers had more life and energy to them than she did, she came out like she was in a daze and just went through the motions on autopilot for the rest of the show.
I hope she has the nerve to just stop it after this tour is over because it is obvious to everyone that she just doesn't give a fuck anymore. People are encouraging her to tour just so they can make some money off her and this is just sad to watch.:(

This is my only thought when I hear of people still "supporting" her by buying: YOU are the ones that are killing her. If there was no fan base they'd no longer ask her to perform. And she could go somewhere and raise her kids and get her head back together and think about what she WANTS.
But her fans INSIST that she continue to prove herself and the executives are happy with that cuz it's easy money in their pockets. They noticed a long time ago that she really doesn't have to do more for her fans than show up. It's a lot of hard work, investment time and dollars breaking a new performer but an established name sells simply for it's familiarity. I bet even they can't beweave how lucky they are, at this point.
