Doctors Want To Amputate Zsa Zsa's Other Leg
Here's some tragic news that makes me want to throw on a pink marabou robe and slap cops up and down the street while shouting at the cloud islands above, "Hasn't Zsa Zsa been through enough?!!!" Zsa Zsa Gabor's rep confirms to Popeater that she waved away her doctors advice to amputate her OTHER leg. Just how many of Zsa Zsa's legs do they fucking want?!
Zsa Zsa's right leg was amputated in January because of an evil blood clot that wouldn't quit being evil, and she was hospitalized on Wednesday when her left leg's blood flow refused to cooperate. This is already after Zsa Zsa spent some time on a hospital bed because she caught a high fever and developed fluid in her lungs. Zsa Zsa is currently on medication, but doctors say she won't survive another year if they don't amputate her other leg.
Zsa Zsa would be as fabulous as Pedro Martell without legs, but she knows it's time for her to sniff on champagne bubbles from a crystal flute instead of breathing in anesthesia over and over again. Before Zsa Zsa turns into crystal and drapes herself over the chandelier in heaven, she should spend her days with her diamonds and Alex Trebek.

If she came to Oregon she could check out via the Death With Dignity statute we have on the books here. All one needs is a terminal diagnosis by two doctors and psych evaluation before drugs are prescribed to end one's life.
Poor Zsa Zsa. I just can't say anything cold hearted about her. She must be in awful pain. Sounds like she's on a downslide. Hope she doesn't linger too much longer. :-(

Zsa Zsa has always been an inspiratia to women of all sexes and she has been OUR role model since 1978!!!!
Sad state of affairs but seriously time for a nice extra shot of morphine and allow her to leave with dignity.
At least that's what I do. If she's aware and cognitive then I'd be making a quiet deal with the doctors. Most doctors do it anyway.

Looks bad for Zsa Zsa. The same thing happened to my Father in law. They told him it was time to cut
off his leg on a Wednesday and by the end of the week, he checked out to the Highway to Heaven. He simply "gave up" the day before the surgery. No way was he going to put up with that and the guy was only 56 years old!!
Very tragic indeed. I think Zsa Zsa has led an amazing life. God bless her.

Almost the exact same thing happened to my grandmother after years of prednisone. She had her first leg amputated at 92 and her second at 93. Luckily, she was very mentally alert and we were able to take care of her at home. She died last June at the age of 94.
It all depends on Zsa Zsa's state of mind and what her doctor's think is possible. She also has the money to have the best home care possible.

my grandma was on a med (heavy doses of prednisone) for decades due to an autoimmune condition. One of the side effects of long term prednisone use is hardening of the arteries and poor circulation to the extremities, usually the legs. SO, of all things grandma got an infection on a toe nail. SHe took copious amounts of antibiotics... but because her circulation was so poor, not enough of the medication was actually making it down to her toe. Eventually, a nurse was coming by twice a day to inject antibiotics to her toe. It was a mess. She developed gangrene... and it spread to her other foot (I don't know how). They ended up amputating both of her legs right above the knee. She lived for another two years until a stroke brought her down. SHe was 90.
If it's something like this that is causing Zsa Zsa to have issues with her legs... she doesn't want to get gangrene.... the pain is more than you can bear.
Athina, I believe she does come from a wealthy family. She's also had a million husbands and once said something to the effect of her being a good house keeper because every time she divorced she got to keep the house. She was also once married to Paris Hilton's great grandad.

my grandma wasn't septic I don't think. Just died of the cancer and it's complications. But she was a strong willed woman, she was read her last rites and then lasted almost two more weeks to make sure her funeral arrangements were EXACTLY how she wanted them to be, and put her mother's arrangements in place for when that time came and once she was happy with all the plans she took her morphine and died in her sleep.
It was actually pretty peaceful and none of us were really "sad". IDK. It just seemed like her time.
I love Zsa Zsa, as I am Hungarian and we Hungies aren't well represented, well, anywhere.
But I never understood where Zsa Zsa got all that money from. She's ridiculously wealthy....all from a few films and tv shows she did back in the 60's? Even if she was considered an A list star back then, they didn't pay the kind of money A listers get today. I wonder if she has family money.
