Zsa Zsa Gabor Is Back At Home
Zsa Zsa Gabor is once eating nibbling on slightly chilled chocolate bonbons and sipping on the tears of police officers from a crystal goblet in her bed after a massive blood clot forced doctors to amputate most of her leg. TMZ reports that Zsa Zsa was sent home from the hospital yesterday and doctors have ordered her to stay in her pink satin princess canopy bed for at least two months. A nurse will be on hand 24-hours a day to spoon feed caviar to Zsa Zsa and wash her hair with diamond water.
No Zsa Zsa post would be complete without an ass dingle straight out of her husband's mouth. Prince Frederic von Anhalt spoke into TMZ's mic and told them that her hospital bills are going to run them around $20,000. Yes, only $20,000. I didn't snatch a zero, deep fry it, sprinkle it with powdered sugar and eat that shit. Dude really only said $20,000.
Zsa Zsa spent over a week in the hospital, had major surgery and he's saying shit about only $20k? That's probably all co-pays, because my hospital bill would be more than that if I simply went in complaining about how I accidentally sat on an empty lubed-up bottle of Andre. The 20k is probably only part of the co-pays they will be out. I'm thinking the hospitalization for a week alone is probably at least 100k without the doctors and surgery, and I think Medicare Part A is an 80/20 deal. Or, they might have supplemental insurance on top of Medicare (which I'm sure she's on) and the 20k might just be for a private room or something. Sorry, Prince Von Asshat, but medical care is expensive!

@hekki-I'm sure her treatment team knew about the problem prior to her discharge for the hip surgery. S he more than likely got a blood clot after hip surgery,very common in bedfast elderly people even if they receive blood thinners. She was sent home with blood thinners and maybe antibiotics. Elderly people don't heal as fast or not at all due to their weakened immune system and other health problems. Blood clots impair circulation and this allows infection to fester. Add to that any other peripheral vascular condition she might have, inadequate nutrition, kidney impairment etc... and despite all aggressive treatment gangrene could set in. Amputation is the last drastic step and they would not have done it if she adequate blood flow to her wound. It's a bitch to age, ain't it? But I still say the 20k is for nursing care at home for the 2 months.

Yeah, that HAS to be copays. I had an appendectomy last year, spent only 1 night in the hospital, and my bills were $26000. (That's including radiology, ER fees, surgeon fees, etc.) My insurance brought it down to about $2000.
