Out of the hundreds or thousands of men JT's supposed to have been with, there is only one photo of him kissing a man and they are clothed, can you imagine how much money a photo of him in a sex club/spa would bring? I do not doubt JT is gay, but I call bullshit on the spa scenario...he would never risk that type of exposure and if he did, this would have come out years ago as so many men would have gone to the tabloids to sell these stories and with pics to prove it as it would have been easy for the spa regulars to take a pic with a cell phone of JT in action.

As for the other topic here, what defines someone as gay is not the ability to enjoy sex with other males but the ability to develop feelings for said men as the only recipients of said feelings. Some people are truly bisexual because they have the ability to develop feelings for both males and females. But there are many gay males in denial who marry women and label themselves bi or "straight" because they don't have the cojones to come out to themselves and pursue their true natures when deep down they'd rather be with another man 24/7. Others use the bi label as a layover until they move to Gaytown for good...Experimenting with same sex partners a few times doesn't make anyone gay or bi either if ultimately their true fulfillment (sexually and emotionally) is with someone of the opposite sex. As others have said, human sexuality is very complex with many shades of gray...it cannot be defined so strictly. Some people take years in the process of discovering and owning their sexuality and emotions because of the repression and rules society imposes, and not because they don't know what they like from the get go.

I've heard my share of comments of the "bisexuals are just gay in denial" type back in the day and I often found that the people making those claims a) had no idea what bisexuality was like, not being bi themselves nor having done any research and b) had never actually met a bi person or talked to one about their sexuality at any extent, and thus were blatantly talking out of their asses.

Human sexuality is not that rigid. I'm sure that there is its share of gay men who claim to be bi in order to dodge some of the social repercussions of being openly gay, though.

I think some people feel threatened by the concept of bisexuality. It's like, "Oh no! Someone I like might like both men and women - twice the competition!"

Also: I think it's really unhealthy for anyone to be territorial and possessive about whoever they date. I can understand people having preferences but trying to control another person isn't healthy.

Why do you think this is so? Meaning the male/female thing. Myself and some of my friends decided that before we were hideous we would have a lesbian experience, and we all did. We didn't seek it out, but eventually it happened for all of us. Two hated it, one (me) liked it, and the last loved it, to the extent that she is now openly bisexual.

The thing I find most interesting about these comments are how many people are insisting that you are either gay or straight, that's it.

I don't know, I think there are probably some completely straight and some completely gay people, but many are in the middle somewhere.
