The invisible toddler leash attached to Brit Brit's ass lips might soon be cut, because the days of her needing a permission slip to take a caca with the door closed are coming to an end! Radar reports that on Thursday afternoon, Our Lady of Cheetos met with the judge in her conservatorship case to see if she's ready to cross the street without holding Daddy Spears hand.
Apparently, Daddy Spears and the other conservator think that the pink wig phase in Brit Brit's life is completely over and his reign as Cheeto Master could stop in about 3 months. Some source tells Radar, "Britney also will be releasing an album in 2011, and there are other projects in the works. Britney knows that she came close to losing everything before, and she doesn't want that to happen again. No one wants Britney to fall prey to the people that were in her life during the time when her problems overwhelmed her. Britney's inner circle now is very close, and trusted."

I've heard of this too. Good point. Is it coincidental that Britney, Lohan and Michael Jackson all had abusive fathers and they turned out with major mental issues? Also Brit was released by the same crazy hospital that said Lohan was fine.
I'm curious as to who these 'people around her' where and how did they contribute to her crazyness?
Personally I think she will implode again if left alone. I think she's been given medication to tone down her her symptoms but not actually address the cause of the symptoms... time will tell.

It takes up to two weeks once diagnosed (if not longer) to adjust meds and see what types and dosages work in taming your crazy. There is no way she was diagnosed bi-polar and they figured out her meds in a week. NO. WAY>

She was released because it was determined she was no longer an immediate threat to herself and/or others around her.
That is why she was released. It has nothing to do with whether or not her meds were working. Nothng.
Legally, you cannot force someone in the U.S. to take medication if they do not want to do so. They have a right to refuse care, too.
A person held under a 5150 can only be held so long as they are an immediate danger to themselves or others.
i think the HBIC judge/lawyer whoever is missing the point here-she mentally ill and its got nothing to do with the people who were around her-I think she'll always need to have an eye kept on her...

She is rumored to be bipolar. Many people with that disorder respond well to meds. and therapy, but many of them reach a point where they think they are "cured" and stop. I could see her doing the same thing.
Also, many of them miss the mania. The truth is, you can get a ton accomplished when you are in the mania episode. It can be very addicitive.
Britney has a family history of severe mental illness including a grandmother who committed suicide. I do think ending the conservatorship would be a disaster.
She's really got lifeless eyes.
Britney went very far off the deep end. I honestly saw her needing someone to separate her pills every morning for the rest of her life.

In all seriousness, as someone with a mentally ill sibling, I give the Spears family a lot of credit. It's very hard to deal with a legal adult who is irrational or self-destructive. I could not imagine if my sister was a millionaire surrounded by yes people, and all of her escapades played out in front of the world. Best of luck to her as she takes control of her life again.
