Gisele Bundchen Thinks There Should Be A Worldwide Breastfeeding Law

If you're a mother who does not breastfeed her newborn baby, Gisele Buttchin thinks you should be imprisoned immediately and forced to hand over your kid to Salma Hayek. Or something along those lines.

Gisele, who has been a mother for all of 8-months, thinks there should be a law on the books that states all mothers should squirt chichi leche into their babies' mouths NO MATTER WHAT! Gisele tells Harper's Bazaar (via Press Associated):

"I think breastfeeding really helped me keep my figure. Some people here (in the US) think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?' I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months."

The highly important committee that is in charge of passing worldwide laws will get on that as soon as they pass a law stating that Gisele Bundchen needs to keep her pie hole shut in public. No, but seriously...

I don't know how easy breastfeeding is, but I'm sure if every mother could do it she would. I mean, why waste your money on formula when you can spend it on painkillers and other substances that will ease your nerves when baby is screeching in the middle of the night. Right?

And what about Barbie? If Barbie was a real-life human being she wouldn't physically be able to breastfeed, because bitch doesn't have any damn nipples*! Baby can polish its gums on her titties, but that's about it! Gis needs to think about Barbie before she speaks!

*Barbie doesn't have a vagina either, but that little fact doesn't work with my point!

So if this dumb ass ran the world my friend would have her son taken away because her breasts couldn't produce enough milk? Fuck you Gis! Just because you shit out a kid DOES NOT make you some fucking expert on ANYTHING!

I agree with the poster who said Gis is tipping into Fishstick's pretentious territory. Actually, she's already there.

I don't even have bebehs but even I know that she is a CERTIFIED DUMB BITCH for saying that. A 'worldwide law', huh Jizz? GOOD LUCK WITH THAT. You'd think this bitch would stop opening her stupid mouth after the first 1,000 gaffes, but no, she just keeps 'em coming, one after another. SHUT THE FUCK UP JIZZ. You should be thanking the lord every night that you make gagillions of dollars for posing in your panties despite the fact that you have a man face, and that God didn't send a bolt of lightening your way after all the nasty backhanded ho shit you did to Bridget Whats-her-face, but no. Instead you continue to flap your ignorant mouf and spout out cunty shit to anyone who will listen.

It tells you everything you need to know about the current state of my life when the only conversation that gets me commenting on dlisted (after a 10 month absence) is about breastfeeding. When you are the food source -- it really tends to take over your life.

Put me in the "breast is best" camp, but I agree with all of you ladies that you can't judge! I have many friends that weren't able to BF because they didn't produce enough milk, or the baby wouldn't latch, or because they just plain hated it. Who cares, every person has to make their decision for themselves. I wasn't breast fed and I turned out fine. I breast feed my son, and I have over active letdown so my poor son is beer bonging my tits. But he prefers to shotgun the boobie over drinking a bottle, so what are you gonna do?

harveyprice's picture

This whore cannot remember what it is like to live like a real person, that is all. I imagine she started modeling at 15 and has never had to pump in a bathroom, go to school, go to work and clean her home while finding the extra 30 minutes to sit down and get in just the right position for the baby to want to latch on. She's got all day (outside of the two plus hours she spends in the gym) to breast feed and kick it.

I would love to throttle this dumb bitch until she stops moving! I didn't breastfeed and it was MY choice to do so. It is NO ONE'S business what anyone does with their own body. The breast feeding nazis drive me nuts and clearly she is a member of that delusional crazy club.

Same here. I'd have to sit on the toilet to pump, because there was no other seating in our, one terlet and since SHARED bathroom. I'd have to put a note on the door with the time and a "will be occupied for the next 15-20 min" on the outside of the door.

I considered myself lucky to have an actual chair in the large handicapped bathroom stall, but it wasn't a single stall. i'd have to listen to women poo-ing and they'd have to listen to me pumping! that does wonders for milk production!

I think this "perfect" bitch needs to mind her own business. I tried breastfeeding. Aside from having physical difficulty with it, I hated it. My very healthy 15 year-old son couldn't give a shit that I "deprived" him of this experience.

This woman is obnoxious. I don't have kids but I can't stand this sort of sanctimonious stance that women who bfeed are somehow better, more attentive, more invested mothers. I imagine it's already enormously hard to be a parent without this added pressure. My good friend had breast cancer at 26 and a double mastectomy, followed by many surgeries that made her unable to bfeed. Whether you can't or just CHOOSE not to nurse, it should be your own business.

I can't stand this smug wench. She acts like she's a SAINT, and clearly knows everything about child rearing. Screw that Doctor Spock. He's only an actual Doctor. Gizz is the go-to genius here. Parading around in a bra and panties for 15 years has made her an expert.

Queenie - I may be one for "the breast is best" I would never look down on someone who couldn't breastfeed, or decided it wasn't for them.

My anger here is to Giz and her wanting to make it a LAW, forcing women to breastfeed.

Amen. I breastfed for over a year. I am lucky enough to be able to stay at home with my daughter. Gisele is lucky enough to be a multimillionaire who can bring her kid to work with her and work when she pleases.

Uvy, I owe my milk jugs over production to A. tricking my body into thinking I had twins by pumping one bewb while he fed on the other. And B. the prescription supplement for milk production I was on.

With the first, 2oz. Max per pump.

ISprainedMyUvula's picture

You whores with your abundant milkballs. I had milk duds- 1.5-2 ounces per pumping session COMBINED. And that was with supplements.

there are some women who just can't breastfeed, too, for various reasons. Laws are not the way to go. Get your freaking laws out of my life, I am sick and tired of people telling me what to do as if I am not capable of determining that for myself.

M.E. -- Pumping SUCKS so bad. When I was at the height of production, I would get about 16 plus oz per half hour pump -- so I was putting out lots of milk but I let it mostly dry up now and give them formula during the day.

But the one thing about pumping is that you can see how much each boob puts out. My left boob didnt produce nearly as much as my right -- less than half. Almost all my milk comes from one side. I thought I was a freak but apparently thats pretty common and women might not know that so they dont know to feed the kid longer on one side. Nobody tells you that stuff!!

dlisted I wish I could quit you...

with my first I fucking refused to give up trying to BF... both me and the baby were crying non-stop... I ended up breastfeeding for a year.

Second baby I was hooked up to a fucking commercial type machine for 2 1/2 months while the baby was in the hospital.. I do plan to breastfeed until she is a year old.

I was one of those who thought that Breastfeeding was grooosss and ewwwwk.. but changed my mind after a little education ( and Not from the La Leche Nazis) I do feel there is a lot of pressure to breastfeed because it is the best thing for the baby ( and I do belive this) but obviously giving mothers who can or don't want to a guilt trip is very "uncool".

We're not stupid, we KNOW breast milk is the best food a newborn can have (unless we've been drinking heavily and what new mother hasn't been tempted) we don't need Gisele to preach. She fails to take into account the myriad of reasons why a mother cannot or decides not to breastfeed. Besides the fact formula is expensive, it's not a decision that most mums arrive at lightly.

I never thought she was this irresponsible before... next she'll be chucking the kid in the deep end and declaring he swam to the other side just fine.

sparkle - since I was afraid of having a low supply again with the 2nd, I started pumping immediately home from the hospital. As he fed on one side, I pumped the other, then switched sides. Thanks to that and the prescription my doctor gave me I was a damn milk cow. Once I went back to work, I'd pump 3x a day here, 15-20 min at a time.

My first pump of the day I could easily get 16oz, then my second would be about 9 or 10, the 3rd was about 4-6oz.

I tried that whole, hands free pumping bra thing. PURE SHIT!!!

Yes, there are women out there who do it, most because they just simply CANNOT breastfeed, and to those women, as I knew many of them, would have rather been able to put the baby to the breast, than be attached to a damn machine every day.
--------------------------------------------------

Word. My pump was the bomb and I produced a ton of milk but I had to spend upwards of 3 hours a day on that damn machine. And guess what -- you cant do that once the kids start moving around alot. Now to get one bottle per kid per night (16 oz), I still have to pump 30 mins in the morning and 30 mins at night. I would much rather have fed them on the breast.

For those who have never had a child and scream they refuse to breastfeed, but will pump for them. Let me tell you, no matter how expensive, or high quality the pump. Not one can exactly mimic the suckling of a baby. Pumping makes it harder to letdown, and it takes twice as long to yeild half as much as a nursing child.

Yes, there are women out there who do it, most because they just simply CANNOT breastfeed, and to those women, as I knew many of them, would have rather been able to put the baby to the breast, than be attached to a damn machine every day.

Kerfuffles's picture

It is true that breastfeeding brings lots of advantages for the baby's health, but there are women who can't breastfeed, for one reason or another, or others that simply won't. It's up to each parent to decide what's best for a kid and you can judge but ultimately you can't FORCE a mother to breastfeed or have her children removed from her if she doesn't.

And it figures that a vapid, stupid model would start a pro-breastfeeding tirade with such a line as "I think breastfeeding really helped me keep my figure." It's about HER HER HER. Like when she considered her baby stepson her son, which was completely inappropriate seeing as the kid had a mother, not to mention the touchy situation between Gisele, Bridget Moynahan and Tom Brady back then.

Everybody tells me Gisele turns the ground she walks on into solid gold, I just don't get it: she's not that pretty to begin with (which I guess is kind of alright because high fashion models aren't supposed to be pretty in the conventional sense necessarily), she's quite manly-looking at that. And everytime she opens her mouth she spews all kinds of moronic bullshit, in that bubbly-braindead tone Brazilians adopt when they're trying to be "cute".

LisaRose's picture

Breast IS best but I just couldn't do it with either of my kids. The feeling of it made me want to harm my children so what was I suppose to do? I did a few days with each of them and that was it. I feel bad but it's not for everyone.

Breast feeding helped her keep her figure...along with a personal nutritionist, private chef, personal trainer, gym membership, a post-baby tummy tuck, and everything else that rich women can afford to immediately slide the baby weight off so they can feel superior within weeks of pushing out the baby friend. While breast feeding is best, these bitches need to be honest about what all helped them keep their figures.
