Regardless of the fact that they are both fuck-ups, this event is important if only to show the world that Mel is NOT a religious role-model.
There were folks who (even after the Jew rant) believed that this man could speak with authority and entitlement about what constitutes being a good Christian.
The naked anger, lust, violence, and complete lack of propriety evident in these tapes (regardless of the intended target's own obvious issues) shows everyone in the world that this guy is in no position to interpret the teachings of Christ.....Hitler maybe, but not Christ.

Oksana's dumber than I thought. Not only is she a total fail as a golddigger, but she doesn't seem to realize that the shock value of her initial "leaks" is diminished every time she produces another one. It's like "yeah another day another Gibson rant, big flipping deal."

I'm not so certain Oksana is responsible for the timing of the "leaks." I think Radar got all the tapes at once and is releasing "new" ones daily to keep their hits up.
