I just saw Mildred Pierce for the first time on TCM a cuple of weeks ago. Great stuff, very campy at times..I love all the backstory of that movie and the Academy award they they explained after the movie finished. That woman who played Veda? GORGEOUS. Evan Rachel Wood is chopped liver next to her. Evan's boyfriend Marilyn, looks like day old chopped liver next to her.
