Gary Coleman Has Died
And we all fall into Mr. Drummond's arms. TMZ says that Gary Coleman has passed away at the age of 42. Now he's up in heaven saying, "Watchu talking 'bout, angels?"
Gary was admitted into the hospital on Wednesday after he fell on his head and suffered a brain hemorrhage. Doctors had hope for Gary until he slipped into a coma yesterday afternoon. Gary's manager said he was then put on life support. Gary's wife Shannon made the decision to pull him off of life support today. Gary was surrounded by his family and friends when he was pronounced dead at 12:05pm in Utah.
May Gary finally rest in peace with Kimberly Drummond and Abraham the fish.

There was an expose on Gary Coleman and they went into the financial situation with his parents. Yes, money was unaccounted for, but it was only 1-2 million dollars. Dude made bad investments and spent his money up once he got control. His parents aren't to blame for all of his finance issues.
Dana and Gary made decisions that made them poor, Todd still has money, he's not broke. He was even trying to have Gary work for him.

You know they aren't given the option to pull the plug unless the doctors see that as an option and when there is no brain activity.
It seems like she pulled it fast, but someone HAD to have told her "his brain is dead" for it to happen.

I agree that she had to have been told he was brain dead. That or his organs were failing and with his kidney problems this may have been another factor.
All I can say from personal experience, is that it is very difficult to watch a person on life support slowly slipping away hour by hour. When my Mother was moved from ICU to hospice, they advised us she had only 12-18 hrs left. At that point she was taken off the ventilator and given morphine to keep her comfortable. She lasted 12 hours and in the process you saw the body breaking down more and more. I do not want to ever witness that again.
Regardless of whatever type of person he was, he was still a human being. All I can say is thankfully he went quickly and hopefully now has found peace.
