Heroes Canceled!
Entertainment Weekly says that NBC has made the decision to cancel Heroes after that hooker failed to bring enough johns to its corner. NBC burned Heroes with their cigarettes and slapped it with their pimp cane, but it still didn't hoil and toil hard enough on the stroll. So they finally kicked it off a bridge and now it's dead!
Apparently, NBC will make the announcement when they reveal their fall lineup in NYC on Monday. There has been talks of a movie, but it hasn't gone beyond that.
This isn't the only trick NBC killed today. They've also canceled that old wheezy queen Law & Order as well as Mercy and Trauma. It's a fucking bloodbath over there today! Killing hos left and right. The executioners at NBC will be partying hard tonight with blood on their hands! A round of Plasmatinis, please!
And since Heroes is done, does that mean Hayden Panatroll doesn't exist anymore? I'm on vacation so just lie to me and say YES!

I for one loved L&O watch Anthony Anderson and Jeremy Sisto. They actually made a good team. I still catch the old ones on TNT. As for Heroes, I used to love it, but then they started adding and killing Heroes. Then the story line w/ Ali Larters character being a triplet was getting stupid. I stopped watching a while ago.

ABOUT TIME! 1st season and a little of the 2nd season kept my attention, then I stopped watching the crap all together, lol.

If only. They are replacing the original with a new version of Law and Order but based in LA, which is cheaper to produce.

What happened with "Heroes" is what happened with "Lost" and "Desperate Housewives"...
The show was good in the beginning but the actors and the writers got full of themselves. They didn't put into the story, it was just about publicity and Extra TV segments. And self-promotion without anything to back it up.
If the cancellation of Heroes means the death of the career of that Hayden girl, then I say it is best cancelation ever!
Law and Order suffered from the Jay Leno debacle. And it's been on a long, long time. I watched it from the very beginning. The show was never the same when Jerry Orbach left and then died. It was one of the consistently good shows on TV.

I gotta say the series had a lot of sexy leading men I'd fuck each and every one of them steamers however the girl side needed a better eye candy than Hayden,that 'plague' babe was hot but other than that not much,the actor who plays Hiro is very funny in a sweet way.
Heroes turned to shit after the first season. I think it's because they used all the good material and just started winging it after that.
I have been watching Law & Order with the family for the past 20 years. Long live the re-runs of the original and C.I. on TNT, Oxygen, and USA.

Is anyone surprised at the epic failure known as NBC? I'm thankful TNT picked up Southland after NBC ditched it. They wouldn't know a good show if it bit'em.
I thought I would hate the new lineup for L&O, but it is still good and a shame they're ditching it. SVU could go, it is the same Olivia/Elliott tension and both characters are so whiny and macho. CI sucks w/out D'onofrio/Erbe, I even liked Noth in it. USA will manage to drag that out for another few seasons.
Officially cancelled. (smiling). I hated heroes but am upset about Law and Order which is getting replaced by Law and Order LA or LOLA for short. WTF?____________________________________________

I think that screwed up a lot of shows. I don't know if some shows lost writers, or the writers lost their minds, but a LOT went off the rails about that time. Pushing Daises in particular comes to mind.

and after all their idea of writing wasn't that good either, i think. they had one writer for each character and one "superwriter" who put all the ideas together into one plot.
so basically that would be like i would say: "i'm walking to the shop to rob it". and you say "i'm going to get a sunbath in the park and save a blind kid" - the plot would be that you throw the kid onto me to stop my robbery attempt, while the kid would be seriously hurt.. blabla ;) (yes i know i should've been a heroes writer)

so.. somewhen back in winter i decided that i needed something to watch - so i literally watched the whole heroes episodes from a-z in about 2 weeks. i liked the first season, the second was crap (with a few exeptions) and i seriously lost track. after that nothing was able to revive the show. or better: nothing they did revived it. but i liked the idea - and hey, i like most of the actors - no matter what you say :P
