I think Elin held off on the divorce so that he could get his endorsements back up with the guise of them working on their marriage. Once that was done, his stock value would go back up and she could get more. Even if the prenup would've prevented it, it wouldn't surprise me if Tiger paid her a little more to stay a little longer.
