On Howard Stern's Sirius show yesterday, Courtney Love confessed that she fucked Gavin Rossdale on the regular while he was with Gwen Stefani. Courtney told Howard that Gwen knows all about it. So basically, Courtney is saying that Gwen is in fact a Hollaback Girl. That meaningful song now has no meaning. It's all lies. Thanks for shattering our dreams, Court.
According to UsWeekly, Courtney said that she wanted to marry Gavin at one time. Courtney went on to say, "Everyone gave me so much shit because Gavin sounded like a lot like Kurt. But man, he was such an Adonis in his day! He got good in bed ... something happened. Maybe Gwen taught him, for all I know."
When Howard asked Courtney if Gavin was giving it to her while he was giving it to Gwen, she answered, "Everyone ... yeah ... and a few other people. We didn't have a lot of pressure on each other, but we did like each other quite a bit."

We had no self-confidence in our twenties and we hadn't figured out our "personal style" yet, but in our thirties we really came into our own, it's a great decade, have fun with it!

I always thought Gavin was good-looking, but cheesy. For whatever reason, though, I have a vague impression that Gwen thinks she's lucky for "getting" him, which obscures her better judgment.
I may have picked this up from an article long ago when they first got together. Though she didn't exactly say it, it seemed as though she thought she nabbed the popular, hot guy on the scene at the time, and couldn't believe her good fortune.
Not a No Doubt fan, but her low self-esteem is still palpable. However good-looking he is/was, his band was a joke compared to No Doubt. This may have been unclear at the time they met, but was pretty obvious by the time they got married years later.
The only thing he has going for him is his looks. Even if her personal style isn't for everyone, they are well-matched on looks, and she's eclipsed him many times over professionally. But it's like she's never re-oriented her starstruck thinking from the time they met.
