Made the mistake of watching Price of Beauty and reading her Allure interview. I love how she is just so surprised that fake blond and tan is not considered the beauty standard for the rest of the planet. Is she that ignorant and only willing to see what she considers attractive as typical? Even in her own freakin' country opinions on beauty differ greatly. Does she pass out from shock and disgust when she sees a fair skinned individual like me?

Needless to say the cover is lovely, but definitely not without a little cosmetic enhancement.

I don't think she's had a boob or nose job. Her nose in particular has a very noticeable bump and is a little masculine, if that makes any sense. If she were unhappy w/ her nose, that's def. something she'd change about it.

I don't walk out of my house w/o concealer and no one knows who the fukc I am. She's one of the few celebs who can get "caught" without makeup and not look embarrassing and frightening.

What Marie Claire meant was they let Jessica do her OWN make-up instead of a make-up artist. They also gave Christina A.'s photoshop person the night off. All they had was an intern.

Is it just me or is Jessica transforming into a second-rate Jennifer Jason Leigh? She even kinda slurs like her now. It's very weird.

I have alwasy thought JS was one of those celebs that looked better without all the makeup. I watched Newlyweds when it was on and there were several times that she had either no makeup on, or minimal and she looked great.
I'm not a fan of the cover photo, but I think she looks great in the other pics, very natural.
And I agree, while it may look like she's wearing makeup, I doubt she is- difusers. If anything she prob has vaseline on her lips and around her eyes and may has a natural pink tint to her cheeks. I have friends that don't wear makeup and have great complexions that look like they have it on. You never know...point is she's trying to portray a more natural image and I like it.

Jess was born when I entered the 7th grade at Westwood Junior High School in Richardson.

I am amazed at the similarities we share in terms of personality, plus she is the only other girl I know of besides myself who dropped out of JJ Pearce High School at age 16. AND went on to become a business woman with a lot of responsibilities.

Jess is way too honest. It isn't what people expect from someone so beautiful and successful. But it seems to actually be who she really is. I think it's refreshing, and I'd rather hang out with a person like her than someone boring or selfish. I love that she says, "what other people think of me is not my business." That's a pretty smart thing to say.

Call me crazy but I like it. I get the same reaction to this that I get when I see movies from the 70's. Girls without boob jobs and plastic surgery just acting their roles out in public are refreshing. I'm so used to seeing it the other way-girls weened on an era ushered in by Pam Anderson-dried up like turkey a week after Thanksgiving-everyone trying to look like a white trash version of blow up sex dolls. I don't know if Jessica had work done or is or isn't sans fards, but she looks normal. And it's so atypical, that I am kind of digging it.
