You are probably right about MM's financial situation. This is when it would help for him to not be so drug addled, so he could really hunker down and work this all out. Hell that goes for most of Hollywood. Sometimes their egos are too big for them to get any breathing room to objectively assess a situation.

Regarding MM doing this to get back at Dita, that is so sad and small minded. Unfortunately I've had experience with a guy like that and I remember when it happened, it shocked me. Its bizarre how a grown person thinks they can act like a three yo. All that does is make anyone in the know feel sorry Dita was with such a low-down loser.
Between serious drug use, divorce settlement, poor sales on the last two records, no showing at concert performances, expensive purchases like that rock, and multiple lawsuits that he's settled or is paying lawyers to fight MM's got to be doing some serious hurting financially.

I don't care about either of their love lives, but I will say one of the best rock shows I've ever seen in my entire life was MM at a local club on his first tour. The band was tight, and he didn't have any real props other than what the band could haul around in their van. Seriously reminded me of early Alice Cooper.
