Thanks to the sweet nectar I'm already winking and smiling like Mickey Rooney next to a pair of young chichis. So if you don't have drunk spots on your forehead yet, DRINK UP because it's going to be a long ass night. Get your drinkin' wig, the drunk liveblog is below:

why can't somebody be honest with that precious chick and tell her straight up it aint healthy being that obese. so sick of everybody telling her how fabulous she is. like it's some kind of guilt or something. also, that chick from "Up in the Air" bothers me, in fact both of them do. am i the only one who feels this way? her speech for George Clooney was embarrassing.
Fawcett was nominated for a best actress Golden Globe for her role in the 1986 film "Extremities" and also starred in "The Cannonball Run" (1981) and the Oscar-nominated film "The Apostle" in 1997.
Arthur was featured in the 1970 Oscar-nominated film "Lovers and Other Strangers" and in 1974's big-screen adaptation of "Mame." She also appeared in other films throughout her career.

That's what I thought too but there were some that I didn't recognize at all or their on-screen work in the tribute. Do you think Michael Jackson was included for the "This Is It" documentary? I don't recall him in big screen movies.

Front rows are reserved for the nominee's. He was not nominated this year for anything, so he would not have been sitting there.
Passionate- Angel is right, their omission was due to them being television not movie, even though Fawcett was in the movie Extremities, which was in theaters and on Broadway as a play. Both of which she was in.

Jaws is pretty fucking scary. Sharks are horrifying. I don't live on the coast, but every few years or so, my family and I go on vacation to Florida. The ocean is so beautiful, but I can't help but panic every time we cross a bridge over the ocean.
I'm terrified of alligators too, so any time we'd cross a river, lake, or swamp I'd get the skeevies.
Jaws and Lake Placid are reason enough for me to keep the fuck away from open waters or never move to Florida.

Jeff Bridges was underrated for years. He should have been nominated 5 or so years back for THE DOOR IN THE FLOOR, but got nada. I was happy he won. He and Mo'Nique gave two of the best performances of the year. Glad Waltz won, but Christopher Plummer was actually who I was rooting for.
Well, I guess at this rate we can expect Miley Cyrus to win an Oscar in about 5 years :\
