Michael Cera, who normally looks like a middle-aged lesbian high school English teacher with the third largest stamp collection in Northampton, MA, got a Guido makeover courtesy of Jersey Shore's Pauly D!
Unfortunately, Michael doesn't look like something you'd find rolling out of Karma Club at 4am. Michael looks more like a middle-aged lesbian high school English teacher with the third largest stamp collection in Northampton, MA who tried to be a hybrid of Jon & Kate for Halloween but failed miserably.
But at least he got to meet JWoww:

I don't care if you people consider Cera to be a one-trick pony he is probably one of the few young actors at the moment who can actually perform.
he is realistic and in every scene he handles over the top situations with a low key lifelike reaction,sometimes you don't need to shoot rainbows out of your ass to create comedy, his characters are genius.
Pauly is cute. It's too bad he does that shit to his hair. He needs Tim Gunn to give hime a make over.

OK. I f*ckin LOVE this show. I started out thinking it was going to be a horrible mess (which it is) BUT the people are all sincere and likable (unlike The Hills/real world), hilarious and actually kinda endearing b/c they're generally a good-natured bunch who just want to get their tans on...lol...besides the Situation, who is portrayed as a douche and a fool.
Unfortunately next season, or in whatever incarnation they return, will be horrible b/c they'll all be self-conscious, not spontaneous and will be playing up their new "characters". Soooo, I'm savoring while I can. lol.
this show is totally a guilty pleasure of mine. I tried to hate it at first but Snookie won me over when I saw that asshole guy punch her. They're all really funny and own their guido/guidette looks.

I want to like Michael Cera as an actor (mostly because I loved Arrested Development), but he seems to have no range. He seems to play the same low-key character over and over.
I have a confession to make: I watched the last 2 episodes of this just to see how they carried themselves and I came to 2 conclusions:
1) "The Situation" is a pussy for not cold-cocking the guy that was with the Snickers-puncher. What an asshole. Yeah, what? what?
The Situation - you suck.
2) There is something I love about JWoww: she was beating the shit out of the Snooki-puncher while they were dragging him away AND her punches on that girl in the last episode were AWESOME!
She was round-house, downward punching just to get to her.
I don't kie women fighting but this girl does not mess around!

Holey sheet i almost peed myself AGAIN when I read this ( I almost pee myself every day at this site!) NORTHAMPTON?? I live next to Boston and I had never been out that far..my husband - a contractor - got a job out there. He was working there for 1 month and only coming home on weekends, so one weekend I took my son and we went out there to stay with him and see the sights in Northhampton. OMG..one day we were in the hotel pool and a lady who was in a hot tub asked my son if he would please get her towel that was on a chair. He handed it to her and when she reached for it she had more hair under her arms than Pauly has on his HEAD! It was a gag moment for me for sure. ALSO..when you go there the restaurants have SIGNS in the lots that designate parking..first... people that get to park right in front are what?? Handicapped people? NOOOOOOOO..first HYBRID CAR people park up front..then CAR POOL people THEN handicapped people like way in back so by the time you drive up in your gas guzzling SUV they make you park all the way in east bum just to eat in a papa ginos! That just SOME of the whacked things out there..it was like arriving on another planet..Most RE- TAAAAAAHHHHH DED (thats a boston-ism) place I have ever been to..
