She may be a sweet girl, etc. but obviously the court still thinks she's incapable of managing her own life and affairs. It takes big crazy for a judge to impose a conservatorship on a young, seemingly healthy adult. I think she already has high powered lawyers pleading her case, but obviously her dad and his lawyers have a better one. It's for her own good, really, and the money her dad and his lawyers are taking are a drop in the bucket to her - she's worth millions upon millions. She'll still have them when she's judged competent again.

Have to agree with PIMPCESSA on this one. As far as hating on her--Why? Whenever I saw her on talk shows or whatever, she came across as a sweet girl. Besides, she has been very open minded, given her redneck background from the South. I really feel sorry for her because everyone is after her money and no one is there for her. Maybe that is why she has been taken advantage of by so many people who probably tell her lies with promises of their care and devotion, once they realize that about her. I really feel badly for the poor gal.

i sgree with almost everything you said, and part of the last paragraph. i don't believe that her father should be getting that much money it's ridiculous. i think she needs some serious help and i don't know how she's going to get it with such toxic people around her. a father shouldn't get that much to look after his own child, especially since she was probably already taking care of him, i saw that clip on the soup, and he doesn't come across as someone who is intelligent enough to really look after his daughter. he and lynne should be ashamed of themselves

I really think people are overestimating how much money she has. She pays KFed, she pays his lawyers, she pays her lawyers, money is just frittered away and she isn't pulling it in like she used to.

This is so true. Any regular, loving, parent would give their child the time to get well. She could retire anywhere in the world and concentrate on her kids. Daddy spears obviously doesn't favour that solution, he'd rather patch her up and make her work till she falls apart.

I think Britney got released from her 5150 holds because she has a personal psychiatrist who can watch her continually. Also doctors are not always right or as thourough as they should be. They can also be swayed by cash, remember MJ's doctor?

When Brit went off the rails she was constantly changing her hair/wig and people reported she would go into one room and come out dressed differently and become a 'different person'. All that stuff points to disacociative, or multiple personality disorder. It usually develops due to childhood abuse, there are some pretty weird statements in interviews from Brit re. her childhood if you dig around. There are rumours that Jamie Spears abused her, we do know at least that he was a bullying alcoholic when she was a child and her mother was happy for her to be sexualised for cash at an early age. (sounds a bit like the Lohans?!)

I'm not saying Britney can't be a selfish obnoxious hillbilly twat as well as having mental issues and I'm not saying I can diagnose her from my armchair either, no-one can.

Entirely from personal experience I would say she is a vulnerable person that has suffered, or is suffering from a mental illness.
Look at the vacant stare and the forced grin when she is 'performing', it's a world away from her manic days. I'm sure she has been chemically labotomised and that suits Daddy Spears down to the ground.

OK, I have to say this: mental illness (bipolar) runs in my family, so I know what it looks like even if I am not a dr. I remember way before anybody else said it, I just knew she was manic depressive. The laughing and crying, poor impulse control, poor hygeine, ununderstandable behavior, all of it. Also, she is a musician (she is, even if you don't like her, haters!) and for some reason bipolar is more common in artistic people. this has been proven thru research. When Brit had all that money and no sane brain to deal with it, she acted completely bonkers. I'm sure that she has abused alcohol and drugs, but I don't think for her that is the core problem. Self medding is common also. Since her father took over her life, she has returned to work, kept a low-key lifestyle, and regained partial custody of her sons. This is probably because her father insists that she take care of herself by taking meds as prescribed, going to therapy, and keeping a regular routine. Hopefully she will be able to do those things herself soon, but bipolar is a devastating disease, and her family, friends, and fans should by grateful to Daddy for saving her career, motherhood, and her life.

I feel sorry for her. We all make effed up mistakes and when we get help from our parents we don't have to PAY them to do it. It's ridiculous. She's a grown ass woman and should be able to do what she wants with her money. If she wants to squander it, oh well. She made it by looking like a teenaged whore and making auto tune a household word.

I really feel sad for her. That being said, Brit, I'll come be your friend and tell you like it is and you don't have to pay ME 16k....I'd do it for half that. ;-)

Not everyone who self medicates with illegal/prescription drugs do so because of a mental illness.

A lot of woman turn to drugs, coke, meth, etc becuase of years being told "you have to look like this, you have to fit into "this" or likewise" it's the lack of self esteem, the lack of control in their lives, that, by taking said drugs they gain.

I can tell you that when on speed/meth, you feel invincible, you have confidence you've never had before, you have control, yet, you make poor decisions and find yourself falling deeper and deeper into dispair, unrecognizable to you, because all you care about is keeping your high, keeping the "feel good" part of what you are taking. You do not recognize that the people you are surrounding yourself with are and can be harmful. Are or could be criminals, etc.

It's all about "ME" and making "ME" feel in control, admired, sexy, accepted, alert, etc.

THAT IS BRITNEYS PROBLEM. Yet she lacks the self confidence and intelligence once getting sober to realize any of it and continues down the pity party train.
