I cut my index finger on left hand two weeks ago. There was so much blood I couldn't believe it. I got x-rays, 6-7 stitches, a tetanous shot, 10 day round of antibiotics, AND hydrocodone for pain.

Didn't they give you anything for pain?

If you have an ABCESS - that's an INFECTION - you need to get it treated stat!! It could turn systemic. You're now 5 days into this? Can you please check your glands?! Your throat, under your earlobes and your ARMPITS! If you have any lumps, you will have to hurry. Like, within hours!

that sounds odd, but a medic friend just told me its unusual for a tetanous shot to be sore for a few days.

but i think you should go back to them - JUST SHOW UP. Eff the appointment. Just do a drop in. If they refuse to see you, then tell them you'll go to ER. They hate that.

It does look like an abcess, you may have to go back to the Dr and get it drained/flushed out.
My daughter's BF had one last month (not from a shot tho) he had to go on antibiotics and everything.

arrrgh talk about cellphones. I am glad I dont have mind anymore ((lost it)) so I am getting an Ipod nano instead of a cell. I had to think it really well. Cellphones...my life is way too busy at times..I know I take naps but I tend to work a lot and thats pretty much my life and if someone wants me to be with them..they can call my landline or email me. and drunk texting is not cool.

I am such an ass. One of these days I will learn to read. I have been working on a showcard for a customer, it needs to be sprayed with clearcoat first. It keeps looking cloudy and not shiny every time I spray a coat onto it. I finally looked at my can of clear...it says "Matte".
Thank God I have a can of gloss clear too because this is a rush job for a customer whose lack of planning is not really my fault.

talk about dating...I dont do the dating. I saw life in a clear way...about 5 years ago. seems too complicated and I tend to be too independent. I self date...myself. it's going great and I end up naked, with glitter on my body!...dont ask.. Life is too short for complicated situations. I had a tetanous shot on the Sunday night before Thanksgiving and they gave it to me i my right upper arm. I had no reaction whatsoever. The nurse was giving me a shot in my right arm while the doctor was sewing up the cut on my left hand.

CAN YOU GO TO A DIFFERENT DOCTOR FOR AN OPINION?

The docs who gave you the shot do NOT want to talk to you because they will likely implicate themselves.

What you need to do IMMEDIATELY is contact the STATE BOARD OF NURSING and the MEDICAL BOARD in CA, tell them what happened and send them the pictures. Tell them you'd like to file a report on ALL THE DOCTORS AND NURSES who attended you.

THOSE MUTHAFUCKERS WILL HAVE A WHOLE HELL OF A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO. THEY FEAR THE MEDICAL BOARDS LIKE THE REST OF THE POPULATION FEARS THE PLAGUE.

The medical and nursing board can suspend those fuckers. Also, EVERY MONTH, a publication goes out to nurses and doctors that shows the EXACT NAMES of who got disciplined and why.

THAT'S THE LAST THING THEY EVER WANT TO ENCOUNTER.

I really strongly think you should go to a separate doctor and ask them what is going on with your arm. If you get stonewalled again, then you'll know you have a pursueable case. The important thing to find out right now if the shot is going to cause a longterm health problem for you. If that happens (I HOPE NOT), it is to your MASSIVE advantage to document this in writing through the medical boards and seek an atty later as you see the need.

WHEN YOU SEND YOUR COMPLAINT, DO *NOT* DO IT ONLINE. DO IT BY LETTER WITH PHOTOS AND SEND IT BY FEDEX. That way you have proof they received it. They can eff with you with online complaints, plus I've found that those forms don't give you enough room to explain your situation.

I GUARANTEE you the situation will be investigated. It may not be resolved to your satisfaction, but again, if your health gets worse, you will be able to prove that documented this the entire way - it's called due diligence.

SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR TODAY!!

There is another classmate type thing, but I forgot what it was called, and my sister put me on it without me knowing and all of a sudden I'd see people and they would be all "So, you are gay?" I went on the site and she had made a profile and said i was interested in MEN and rough sex! Stupid bitch! I had the worst time gettin that shit off that site!
