I never saw "The Hours". I did, however, put down "To the Lighthouse" mid-way through a cross-Atlantic flight because I couldn't handle another page of Woolf's prose!

Nicole's a heavy smoker, so maybe without the plumping, those smokers' lines are evident on the upper lip. Who knows.

Sadly, she is one of those women that fears aging irrationally. If Kidman had just allowed herself to age - she was never a sun-worshipper - I think she would have been just fine. Instead, she looks like a Tussaud figure.
