can't stand mad men. but jon hamm is pretty cute in that picture.

I remember someone on THIS site saying (paraphrasing) "why would i care about a show were all they do is fuck their secretary's?"

lol, they ruined my level of joy with the show with their accurate analysis.

but i still watch and like it.

There's nothing funny or witty or cutting to say about my high school photos. They're just too sad. They just might make Sally Struthers want to adopt me (or gnarl on my baggy jeans).

My HS picture (senior year) is pretty much the only picture I like of myself.

nobody takes bad yearbook pics anymore. they're all airbrushed now, in friggin HIGH SCHOOL! plus, it's not like one take and that's it. now they give you a whole bunch to choose from.

Who?? Oh, who cares - I'd still hit it. Yeah, I'm a slut like that :P

Those who don't know who Jon Hamm is are missing something...............something very good!!!!!

Mad Men is a show set in the 60's world of NYC advertising. It's a technically impressive show, but for me it is uncomfortable to watch. By blatantly illustrating the white-heterosexual male hegemony of the era, it sort of implies that such a situation was "of that moment." It hits too close to home for me. Nothing has really changed, people just aren't so obvious and are more oblivious. It disturbs me, in a way.
