Port Charles' Newest Resident
General Hospital is going to get a little James Franco. RANDOM isn't even the word.
Soapnet announced that James wanted a role on the show, so they wrote him in just in time for November sweeeeeeeeps. James will play a "mysterious man" who comes to Port Charles. They would only say that James' character will makes Jason's life a "living hell." His first episode will air on November 20th and he's expected to stay for around 2-months.
GH's executive producer said that it was "an honor that an actor of Franco's caliber would choose to spend some of his valuable time in Port Charles."

Those of you who have a life (or a day job) might not know that Laura is currently in rehab in France (yes, I stay abreast of the goings-on in Port Charles) on the show. At least they say she's in rehab, but I think Laura was actually in France to have a sex change. James Franco should play the newly peened Laura who comes back to Port Charles and seduces Luke! Because James Franco and Luke need to have at least one fuck scene. At least one.
And what is Nurse Bobbie going to say about this?!

I started watching GH again about 6 months ago when I had the flu. I was hooked. I hope Mr. Franco comes back as someone's gay lover. We just don't get enough hot man on man action before People's Court.

Aint nothing wrong with soaps, some of our best actors and actresses have came from them. I think its cool that he wants the experience hope he can handle it soap acting isn't for everyone you have a ton of dialogue to memorize its not like a tv show or movie

I can't help but like Franco. I only watched GH for a brief time in the early 80's (jock college roomate watched it), but I still seem to know the characters. I grew up with the CBS soaps and got hooked on DAYS in the 80's. DAYS is the only one I still watch on a regular basis, but my female parental unit keeps me up to date on ATWT, Y&R and the recently departed GL.

OMG did I love GH when I was in grammar school. I stopped watching it in high school b/c I wasn't home @ 3 o'clock everyday but this show was the shit. Duke Lavery & Anna DeVane were my favorites. & Jagger, back when Antonio Sabato, Jr. was still a hot piece. Every once in a while I glance over at the soap mags in the checkout line & can't believe I still know who some of the people are when I haven't watched tge show in over 15 years.
