I'm Jealous
Over at ONTD, they posted these pictures of Jennifer Garner with her 4-year-old daughter in Boston yesterday and some seem to think that Violet is too old for a binkie or a stroller. Now, I say, MILK IT, Violet! If Jennifer tries to pull you out, kick, scream and call 911! REFUSE to leave that stroller.
I wish I would've never left the stroller. Seriously, imagine spending your days being pushed around in a chair on wheels. That's the life. Walking is pointless. Walking is stupid. Walking is hard.

What it means to me is that our society is too damn lazy to not rely on things to keep the kids in check. Many parents today say "fuck it" give them what they want to shut them up.
I am not a perfect parent but I don't make common sense mistakes that is for sure.
Why would anyone possible care that she's "too old" for the paci or the stroller? What does that matter to YOU?! And most importantly, what dirty little secrets about the way YOU raise your children are you hiding by insisting YOU know the rules? What's that, you don't have any mistakes to hide? Cuz you're doing/did a perfect job, right? You could write a book on how to do it because YOU know exactly what the rules are to turn out a good child. Uh, huh...I bet. Good luuuuucckkkkkk :-)

I find this couple utterly boring and in reiteration, Garner has zero style. ZERO.
Oatmeal, vanilla, beige, etc... BORING, except for the way she hurt Vartan. She aged him in dog years, poor man.
I was reading some comments on another website about this and a few people there said Violet has developmental disabilities and goes to a special school. That might explain why she still has these baby behaviors. Again, not sure how accurate the info is.
As for Jennifer, I guess you reap what you sow. She dumped Scoot Foley for M. Varten, then dumped him for Ben. Ben seems completely absent from his family. BTW, where is the baby?

I love Jen and Violet but damn this seems overindulgent to me. I was raised without a binky and as soon as I could walk, that was it. No strollers, no carrying. Nada. Hiking around the Rio Grande at 2 yrs old. Yep, had to keep up with the adults. And then when I was school aged, had to walk 10 miles each way to school in the snow without shoes. Kids are pussies nowadays.
