LOL, you guys! No, I don't want a Brad Pitt house. They're in District 9!! I'm gonna be parking my ass across the river in Algiers Point. How fucking lucky is that?? I had my eye on this one rental on Craigslist for THREE MONTHS. I remember pointing at the screen and saying "that's my house!" - I showed it the BH and he was all "whatever". I went to NOLA around the 17th, called the landlord beforehand, and he told me the unit he listed was rented, but he was going to rent the other side, not yet listed! He also had one off the French Quarter. After looking at a bunch of places, my first choice was the best choice. Really, it's so f'g lucky that I got this place. It was touch and go that whole week. Freaked out-ish because if I didn't come home without a rental, we would have to go to plan b - we had NO PLAN B!! So, like $7980209q8798079879876987594 later, we have a place to go to.
I can't log in to talk on Open Post because I've been hauling ass with the packing. Bitches, if you want to know the 411 on packing supplies, I can tell you the whole story.
